Materials Needed:
Plastic container (preferably cylindrical in shape)
velvette fabric
Decorative stones, beads, or pearls
Glue gun and glue sticks
Scissors
velcro tape
bukram
green fabric
fevicol
gota
Step-by-Step Guide:
Preparation:
Start by thoroughly cleaning the plastic container to remove any dirt or residue. Ensure it's completely dry before moving on to the next step.
Base Coating:
Take the plastic container outdoors or to a well-ventilated area.
cut the plastic container with hot knife and then paste velvette cloth over it,
Adding Embellishments it's time to add decorative elements to your kalash.
Use the glue gun to attach decorative stones, beads, or pearls around the top rim of the container. This will create a regal and intricate border.
Next, glue artificial leaves around the top edge of the container, covering bukram shaped leaves with green cloth and then decorate it with gota
Display:
Your DIY kalash is now ready to be proudly displayed in your home mandir.
Place it atop your altar or shrine as a focal point, surrounded by candles, incense, and other sacred items.
