1:30 "Nothing wrong with being short. You make up for it...in other ways. Use your head, for instance" That subtle dirty joke hahaha
@zanebeers33272 жыл бұрын
@Don_Lem0n he’s saying there’s nothing wrong with being a short person bc you can make up for your physical weaknesses by being intelligent. But the dirty joke is Brendan interprets this as coach talking about his penis. Nothing wrong with having a small penis, just give her head. Which is why Brendan says “wait, what?”
@MackNcD2 жыл бұрын
Brendan says “wait what?” A lot. Because he’s 8. I’m not sure the dirty joke was intended, despite it being interpreted. I took it as… you’re short but you make up for it by using your head (his home movies, creativity and all.) There definitely wasn’t a heavy sexual implication there, at was at best extremely light, if intended at all. I personally don’t think so.

I've seen this episode dozens of times, but just now realized what Coach McGirk did here. Started off by telling Brendan not to listen to that "psychobabble crap", then ends of dissecting Brendan's life with his own psychobabble crap! The writing was spot-on with this funny show.

This was the first clip of Home Movies I ever saw when it came out. I knew instantly there was as much deadpan as an English stand up routine. Never watched it religiously, just let myself enjoy it when I noticed it was on. I don't usually do slice of life, but this was great normalcy in the KotH tradition. Underrated.
