It is beautiful! We have to do our ensuite bath because of a water damage… I am inspired of your choices. One question: is the blue cabinet one that is purpuse for bath? If not how did you solve it with the siphon?
@Jessroseparr3 жыл бұрын
ahh wow thank you so much! yes the original cabinet was a bathroom vanity unit so it had all the holes drilled for sink and plumbing. we painted it with eggshell paint so it isn't damaged by water and is really durable.

This is a beautiful bathroom and I especially love the tile on the floor and also the tiles on the wall the matte finish is really nice.
@Jessroseparr3 жыл бұрын
thank you so much! yes I adore the matte finish. I definitely feel it makes the contrast of the shiny chrome look more elegant and timeless.

Hi I ordered the same tiles. Please can you tell me whether you used trim for tiles or not?
@Jessroseparr2 жыл бұрын
the floor or wall tiles? we didnt use any trim our builder cut out upstands for skirting and on the shower niche where the tile edges are exposed we just left the tile edge on display - it blends in quite well because of the white grout. Hope this helps! For the bathroom edge between the hallway and the bathroom the carpet fitters installed a threshold to disguise the meeting edge of tile to carpet.
@katerinamac24142 жыл бұрын
@@Jessroseparr thank you for your reply. For walls and above your basin. My builder asked to buy some trimming but I don’t want to spoil the look. What grout have you used (sorry to be a pain), you bathroom looks very nice. I want to do half wall so he probably need to be really precise to make it right without trim.
@judietran74923 жыл бұрын
Hi Jess just wondering what grout you used for the floor tiles? Thanks!
@Jessroseparr3 жыл бұрын
it was a light grey grout to blend in with the tile.i didn't get the brand name from my builder but he got it at Selco
@leahjohnson2253 жыл бұрын
Hey. Love your bathroom. About to start our bathroom renovation. Can you please tell me if your shower without shower tray or door creates a really wet floor after you use the shower? Thanks x
@Jessroseparr3 жыл бұрын
amazing!! good luck with the Reno. no it doesn't splash at all as the glass we've got is 1.2m so it stays contained within that area. Also the floor slopes slightly so the water runs to the drain very quickly. we do put the bath mat from the bath down when we're showing to avoid any wet left on the floor but really there is no issue ever. just make sure you have big enough glass and a slant towards the drain and you're good to go!

Love the tile choices! Do you have any plans for privacy with the window? Also why is there a discussion around wall hung toilettes 😂😂😂 I feel like here in germany everyone puts them in when they renovate because its so much easier to clean. I've seen some americans renovate and they don't seem to use wallhung either.

I’m kinda glad you chose chrome fittings as EVERYONE picks gold or brass, and I feel it’s a passing trend maybe?
@Jessroseparr3 жыл бұрын
omg I totally agree! I think im maybe tiring of it a bit because I see it a lot right now. I feel like chrome is so timeless. I went brass in the downstairs loo as its a bit more jazzy and I think It fits but for a family bathroom im defo glad I went chrome
