@@santoroy2120 the footage is just some high def picture (or maybe time-lapse) plus an overlay of that retro looking footage which can be done through any editing software (most softwares have these kind of filters) or its just a green screen overlay you can find by searching. The music is slowed to 432hrtz + reverb.

It's interesting. 2020 was actually a pretty nostalgic year for me. I was in the middle of a really shit school year, and Covid cut it short. I remember being home, doing my school work for a few hours, and just playing Minecraft for the rest of the day. Repeat that from mid-March to like almost September of 2020. That was back when I enjoyed video games, and didn't have a care in the world and loved to play them. Now I have almost forgotten how to have fun thanks to my intense schoolwork now. It also doesn't help that sometime shortly after september 2020 my memories before then were almost erased. I find it difficult to remember anything before that time (I'm only remembering quite general details about then, and the only thing that really remains is the emotion I felt). It's really eerie. Anyways it reminds me of the carefree days of spring 2020 just playing Minecraft and feeling like it was a neverending, infinite weekend. I can't even put into words how nostalgic it is. I don't even know. My brain has been pretty crazy for a while, it's difficult to describe. Just a subtle vent and ramble of some words, sorry to clog up your email or however you see comment replies

@@bigbubba0439 Actually have a similar experience except this throws me back to 2021 when I was in 8th grade (fav school year). I remember having so many memories of snow and sunshine and actually having a friend group that cared about me. During that school year we didn't do full virtual learning but instead hybrid (go in 1 day and then stay home the next) and I recall the snow drifting to my window and perfectly reflecting the sunlight as I chilled in my bed watching youtube videos on my phone. This was also when I got into my favorite game as of now (Sea of Thieves) and the beginning moments of that game were so surreal from how much joy they brought me compared to now. I remember staying up late at night but not caring as I listened to my rocket league music playlist (that was a banger fr fr) and having my $20 amazon led strips turned on. That whole section of my life feels so distant from me now as I'm in a different house, my old friend group split up, I have a pc as opposed to an xbox, school is getting increasingly imposing on my life, etc. I'm actually thankful you commented something like this as I kinda was keeping these "nostalgic" emotions just bottled up as everyone else in my life has just moved on. Unlike everyone else I know, I don't really handle change all too well and I don't really get many chances to just write what change makes me feel, but I saw this opportunity and took it. :)

this is so nostalgic , i loved and hated it at the same time , i have heard this song a couple of months ago , back then my life was awesome and i didnt saw that , i was so busy thinking that my individuality was the only thing that mattered ( refused of having friends or actually a social life because that makes me dependant ) all this crazy thing happened when i met him , i fell so fucking hard and then my happiness was based on him .. big mistake . he left me and thats why i ended scared of building relationships when all that time i was blind and i had great people around me , i feel like i am always doing this on purpose so i dont feel their abandonment later just like he did with me , besides of that i was living like a queen had everything i wanted it ,my own life made in my way maybe with some undesired circumnstances around but it was made on my shape now moved out in the middle of nowhere no friends, starting from scratch knowing that now i dont actully have anything , everything i have possible know has gone , my structure doesnt exist anymore , its like i change from reality and it feels so nostalgic to look in the past ... i want to cry so badly and all while this song plays

1 know it's cliche, and everyone says it, but it's very sad and true that we didn't realize we were creating memories, we were just living. But then you reach the age that you realize life really just was better years ago. Covid has changed so much in social life, apps like Instagram, Snapchat, and really social media in general (though it's been around for awhile) has both brought people closer together than they've ever been before, while simultaneously drawing us all further apart. We think: "why should I go visit with my friends or play games with my friends in person? I can just face time them or play online." I don't know. Just some food for thought I guess. It's just sad for me personally as only a handful of my friends and I still hang out in person and try to spend quality time together, not just be online all the time. And even then, we're all at the age that we're entering true adult life, getting 9-5 jobs, becoming increasingly busy with differing schedules that are hard to work around, some of us finding someone special to commit to. Growing up is great and all, there's plenty of good things, but man. I wouldn't trade the life I used to know for anything in the world. Call me cynical or old or nostalgic or whatever, you're probably right, but I just miss so much of my younger life.
