I was homeschooled, you can usually knock out all your work in like 4 hours a day, because you don't waste time with class changing, busy work, multiple explanations for the dumb kids, etc. There is a lot of time wasted at most schools. So that leaves more time for other stuff like music lessons, reading books, arts and crafts, cooking, gardening, sports, etc....

The sketch was really funny, but honestly, siblings who are homeschooled are way nicer to each other than that. Me and my siblings are all school-mates and best friends, so that's not accurate at all. Plus, if I ever said anything like that to my siblings, my mom would not be happy. That's the result of my parents being the principle(s), all my teachers and coaches, and my counselors.

As a homeschooler, yes, my family breaks out into song and dance all the time (my mom was a musician so it's only destiny). Yes, we are dramatic. We used to put on tiny plays during Christmas such as the Nutcracker cuz it was fun. But no, all 5 kids love each other to death and would not be mean like that. No, our mom and dad dont force us to do what we dont want to. They find out what we want to do and help us achieve that dream. Lol. But this put a smile on my face. Keep it up!

@@emmettford School isn't the only place where you can obtain social skills. My siblings and I did sports, church, had some of our classes with homeschool groups, etc. I personally don't feel like I missed out on getting the social skills that I need in life by not attending public school. In many ways, I think homeschooling helped me be better socially overall because I didn't just hang out with people my own age the majority of the time, but got more experience in being able to converse with people of all different ages. Anyway, but that's just my opinion and experience. :)

I think some people miss the point that they’re not only poking fun at home school, but also high school musical. I do think it projects a stereotype of homeschoolers as completely isolated, which of course most aren’t. Also, smart parents know better than to try to wear all the ‘hats’ of the various teachers. There are so many extra curricular activities and homeschool groups that most homeschoolers I know are at least as busy as high school kids.
