Nadia, my daughter is exactly like you. It just gets so overwhelming that no amount of "organizing" helps. Every so often she just about donates every item in her closet and starts over. Every time she does it, she gets a little better at keeping it "tidy". Her goal is to one day be able to be happy with a capsule closet. Let the handyman that did the laundry room put some type of organizational unit in there. Then get rid of lots of your stuff that is holding you down. Then it will look different and you will feel lighter and happier. You can do it, it will just take lots of work. Set your mind to it. You just climbed the Himalayas and you didn't think you could do that. SO....I have confidence that you can do this too!

I’m genuinely flummoxed. On a practical level you have a resource , Steve. Get him in to build your cupboards! Also, I have noticed that every suggestion Mark makes, you make an excuse as to why it won’t work Mark: let’s measure! Nadia: you don’t do it properly Mark : let’s buy some cupboards Nadia: There’s no point Mark: let’s start a corner Nadia: you can’t! Do you see a pattern? You reject every single suggestion Mark puts forward, so before you even start managing your ‘issue’ you need to understand why. Even when you finally agree to look at the Ikea website you seem very reluctant. And Mark, check your ego. Acquiesce and just get Steve to do your DIY around the house. This is not about you and your masculinity it’s about getting things done which you are obviously too busy to do. Sorry I sound harsh but you did ask for help🙄

Just order the wardrobes, and ask Steve to come to 'assist' you! An IKEA wardrobe needs 2 people to assemble! I know, having nearly been squashed by the thing after having tried, many years ago! I managed to get it put together on the floor, but then you have to turn the bloody thing upside down, to put on the rear bit! SOS to a good friend resulted in 'the thing' being successfully completed, and moved into position!😊👍

Bit judgemental you two calling her a child and calling her lazy. Nadia is a very busy professional women who is humble enough to do her OWN cleaning and not hiring someone, which personally I think she should hirer someone as it would help her a lot in her busy life. I am a cleaner and I clean for women who are housewives now that is LAZY but they are paying me so hey ho. It is actually people like Nadia who are busy that should have a cleaner. aww Nads, I really feel for you with the wardrobe. I can feel you getting more and more tense and upset about it! I'm not going to offer advice or anything like that because I think it'll only make you feel worse, but if at any point you want the subs to help out and offer suggestions, then maybe do a live and we can try help, either with suggestions or just with having a chat about it! Mark, you are so so sweet going off into your room and looking up wardrobes! I wish I had seen the video sooner so I could have gone online and tried to help out! It's weird because over the course of all of these vlogs, I have (and I'm sure other subs have too) grown so fond of the entire family and really just want you all to be well and happy!

The only solution is fitted floor-to-ceiling wardrobes. You could definitely fit everything you've got into a third of the space with four double-height double-wardrobes and still have room to spare for a set of drawers on wheels. It would be expensive but you could get sponsored by a company like Sharps, they'd be mad to pass up the opportunity of the stark before and after pictures and the construction video. Plus you get much amusing mileage out of Mark's infamous pouty jealousy over you bringing fit young workmen endless cups of tea! lol

Nadia. You need to put every single item of clothing you own into one huge pile on the floor with lots of space (somewhere downstairs probably) and literally go through each item one by one and decide whether you want to keep, throw away, charity, wash, maybe keep etc. In the meantime, your bedroom will be empty and you can clean it and add wardrobes and drawers etc. Once you have your final keep pile, you can organise them into the room. Don't be scared to be ruthless when getting rid of stuff because it's honestly not worth the stress. Good luck! x

Empty the room, clean thoroughly. Get a space tidy expert in to fit storage (see Mrs Hinch) space tidy. Then return only that which has a purpose for future use. I`d get out all your nicer clothes ,go through what you wear ,whatever season etc ,and ,anything you don`t ,pass onto charity.There ,i`ve just given myself a task for the weekend!!:):)...Please though ,never think you`re "Boring"!People like Zoella ,or families who put their kids on social media day in day out ,are tedious ,not thinking of their kids ,these people are in it to make money!! You always entertain me ,both you and Mark.I hope you stick around ,continue to fill that gap ,and continue to be relatable to us older viewers who are fed up with beauty vloggers and think our kids are cute ,but can take or leave other peoples!!.Xxx Ps hope you have a stress free weekend ,and can get over some of the awful jet lag.Xxxx

kallax units work with their storage baskets along side a clothes rail. Also, the contents of the whole room need to be brought downstairs and sorted into either colour or type (shirts, jeans, dresses). As you probably know, you will find items with price tags still on and also multiple examples of the same item. I am also told that you need to have exactly the same coathangers as this immediately makes a room feel ordered. Also have lots of bin liners ready to get rid of clothes so they won't be taken back upstairs. I bet you think I am naturally tidy. you are wrong but I have learned the hard way. xxxx

I ditched the idea of wardrobes, nothing ever fitted in them, and they were always wonky!! I bought some Kallex cubes from Ikea, (similar to the ones you have your tv on) I put baskets in the cubes, and you can fold clothes and put them in to the baskets. I put cubes in two deep (you can access the ones from behind by taking the front basket out) I've seriously never looked back!! xxx well done on your trip Nadia, you are so brave xxx ps, if you're worried about the clothes getting screwed up, invest in a clothes steamer xx
@christinesaunderson46275 жыл бұрын
Also, separate winter clothes from summer clothes then you are not throwing them all on the floor together. Have a set place for everything, ie underwear, dresses, trousers, jumpers and just put them away in your cupboards when washed. It's the same organisation as your fridge, you know where everything is in there X
@ikkleosu5 жыл бұрын
I think you also have to accept you need help. Help to create storage and get it fitted. And help to organise your clothes, someone to help you decide how to categorise your clothes. Plus make it feel special. Those rails look like a charity shop, with a million different type of hangers. Get gorgeous hangers, and decorate the room to your taste. Make it feel special so you want to keep it special.

I believe you two can do this! Nadia please don't feel shame for your closet chaos, sometimes anxiety can create an inability to stay structured or organised. You are a very busy lady who is very empathic, and those emotions have to spill over somewhere. If your anxiety comes out as a messy closet so be it, but if it really bothers you let Mark help you. It would make you feel better to have this cycle broken and make him feel like he's getting the chance to support you through it. Win win! NADIA, you need to get to the root of why you keep messing up your room. You have some beautiful clothes that cost a lot of money all over the floor. Give away anything you haven't worn in a year. Empty the room, paint it and get Steven to help Mark put up the wardrobes, it will be at least a 2 man job, and if there is any room left get some drawers. AND PLEASE GET RID of those random coat hangers, you need the slim velvet ones, you will be able to get more in your wardrobe using them and stuff does not fall off them. Get the STYLE SISTERS, in they are wardrobe organisers. Set yourself a goal maybe the end of October, I am sure Maddie and Kiki, would love to help their mum get organized. Go on you climbed the Himalayas . YOU CAN DO THIS, HAVE FAITH IN YOURSELF. DO IT..

Yes Nadia. Start again. Set an afternoon aside, involve Kiki and Lisa. Make it a girly day and have fun. Go through everything and only keep things that fit you and you love. Maybe consider auctioning some off here and Instagram for a charity for Christmas as that may motivate you. Once you’ve done it and you have less I promise you it will feel better. I found that the more I have the more foggy my brain becomes and having too many choices left me saying I had nothing to wear. Above all don’t beat yourself up and stress. There are many reasons we find ourselves in this position. Like you said in your last vlog, let people help you. I reckon Kiki and Lisa would love to and imagine the laughs you’d have and the memories you’d make. Kiki could even vlog it to practice her film making skills

The absolute best thing is to get a Carpenter in to turn the whole room into a wardrobe and storage room, it is the most expensive but they can turn the whole room to storage use, but Ikea wardrobes work well to if you get them. But yeah Mark you should get help to assemble them, small room and they have to turned and stuff.

Nadia get someone in, like someone said before a Professional Organizer or someone from IKEA. Oh by the way when you and Kiki cooked Mac and Cheese I started craving so I bought all the ingredients for Gluten free Mac and cheese 😊. If you are getting rid of any of your Star tops I’ll buy them, I love them xo

I sent a message to Mark suggesting that Steven build some wardrobes as a surprise whilst you were in India. I have just recovered from your packing for India and now i have anxiety about the state of that room. Soon i will have anxiety about Mark putting the cupboards up. I will be a wreck by Christmas. Roll on vlogmas cos being an devoted sub is stressful xx

Bag it all up and completely clear the room, then get storage down both sides of the room, then go through one bag at a time and put away in storage throwing away everything you dont wear become more minimalist x

Honestly Mark! I don’t think you’re helping with this. You’re actually making it worse for Nadia by stressing her out more, causing more anxiety and shame! You need to stop shaming her for it and just pay for someone to make her a walk in wardrobe. And i would actually love to be there when Lisa and Nadia sort the clothing. Bet that’s going to be hilarious. It’s not as awful as you think, honestly, you just have so much stuff and too little storage and it got overwhelming. My whole house gets like that most if the time ❤️ also suck it up Mark. Pay Steven to do it. You’re not as good at it as you think you are!! You’re both brilliant people, but it’s not with DIY. It’s not emasculating to not be able to put up a cupboard ffs!
