So horrible to lose a hugely talented man like Mick Stubbs and I believe half this band is dead now, but thankfully music lives forever. This is amazing music. It doesn't tarnish at all in fact it just sounds so beautiful and worthwhile/meaningful that you know you're listening to something that will always be special. It's a fantastic work of musical genius.

It's tough listening to it on youtube. Gotta hear it all the way through as one album. It's rare stuff like this that makes me think... what secretes doth this sacred tomb of music hold?

From the era of concept albums along with Alan Parsons Project's I ROBOT, Camel's THE SNOW GOOSE and a host of others... This is a fine album which I luckily own along with PAUSE FOR A HOARSE HORSE... Another concept album worth checking out is SMALLCREEP'S DAY by Mike Rutherford

I have kept a watch out on youtube and elsewhere - no video at all of anything from the Alchemist I'm afraid - may turn up somewhere thougha s every day more obscure stuff emerges - here's hoping!

I'm pretty certain you're referring to a different band. This is a classic Rock band from decades ago.

Laurie Wisefield could have replaced Danny Kirwan in Fleetwood Mac in autumn 1972... if...well ...Laurie left Home just one year later... so the right moment was not really synchronized... Musically it could have been an excellent choice... even if Danny's songrwiting abilities were superior...
