AHHHH!!! You don't even know much you've just inspired me with your home tour. I absolutely love Tuesday Morning and their prices. There's less guilt at the register and it makes it easier to rotate decorations and themes on a whim. Thank you so much for your videos. They help so very much. :)

Love your home,, especially the murals ... & a gorgeous spa retreat bathroom. Nothing nicer than to relax & restore oneself in a calming bath ... especially with all the extras that make bathing so restorative. I believe that homes have their own style and tend to dictate to us what they want if we just give them time & are prepared to allow the decor to evolve as we decorate. I have also had to meld two styles into one house to make it a home ... so I understand the challenge you had, but it usually works out well if given time, thought & love ... just as you have in your home. I love the Country French mural in your TV area - your taste is very similar to my own. Love it!! It's so wonderful and personal to have the original artwork painted directly on your walls & fixtures!! Nothing speaks more to who you are, where you've been and where you'll go! Italian countryside is where my soul resides however, French Country decor I like so much better. You have a lovely personalized home that reflects your personality which is so inspiring. The more of YOU one puts into a space, the more meaningful it is. I am a hobby artist and added murals of the architecture I love in Spain on certain plaster walls of my home, so there is no other home quite like it. I have a soft sunrise on the ocean behind the headboard of our bed. Your painting over the stove is SUCH a sweet romantic gesture. AS they do for you, each painted space has special meaning for my husband and I who are now empty nesters retried abroad. I grew up in Houston in the 50s and my grandmother owned an antique shop on Westheimer in the 40s before I was born. We are an old Houstonian family. After dodging hurricanes our entire lives we chose a retirement place with no hurricanes. However, we live on the edge of an extinct volcano with an erupting volcano we can see at a safe distance. We have regular fireworks from it....every place has SOME trick Mother Nature has up her sleeve. Love your videos, thanks for opening your home and heart to us. Absolutely wonderful in that it's elegant but relaxed and does actually looks like a home that is loved and lived in. Beautiful. I too am all for the round table but my home is built for a long, rectangular one which works well for everday use, however I have a square one outdoors for entertaining as that works in the same way as round and involes everyone in conversation.
