Many congratulations on the baby’s arrival! I know you guys are already reading on your baby’s best care and getting an overload of suggestions/ideas/advise overload…😍but still wanted to share a helpful suggestion that years and years back an American mom taught me. Keep your life going normally and the baby will adjust. Like use a vacuum cleaner even if the baby is sleeping. From the beginning they get used to the sounds….. Or if the lights are on, let the baby get used to it and will continue to nap. So I did all that and it actually worked wonders as my babies slept in and under all circumstances, making life very easy. Best of luck and good wishes for your lil darling…..

Due to the severe long winters here all the houses are centrally heated with the furnace which also cooks the house in summer hot water is 24/7 in the taps no geyser are there here as due to the cold we need hot water houses have a basement the main floor and the bedrooms are on the upper floors . The house have walk in garages as it’s very cold in winter here houses are built here keeping the cold weather in mind.

hi Rohini , just one suggestion, please do not waste your money on renting homes, there are option for first time home buyer, please consult with any lender you want. Because the amount you are paying on rent, you will have same kind of monthly mortgage and at the end that house will be yours and also you will build some equity on it. Please look for homes where you can get good schooling also.
