Hi Everyone, Welcome back to my channel consisting of Travel, Lifestyle and Cooking.

I stayed at this property during June time which costs about 173 euros per night which is excellent for a family of 4-5 (3Bed/1Bathroom/1 WC Toilet) given that is during peak season. It is also a brand new property that has recently been renovated as described in the below paragraph. I would like to convey my special thanks to our host Illias for everything he has done to make our stay the best holiday ever. Right from the start before arriving, Illias has been very good on communications and giving us useful tips on what we need to do before arrival and tourism guides on where to go around in Santorini. Upon arrival, we met Illias and he was amazing with friendly approach, and showed us around the cave suite. We had issues with Car Hire so we took a Taxi to the cave suite and Illias was so patient in waiting for us and was extremely helpful in guiding the driver to locate the place. The cave suite was so clean and very well presented! We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend people to stay here if they visit Santorini. Next time I come here, I would definitely come back and stay here again. We had a really great time here and I have to say it was the best holiday ever. We couldn’t have had a best holiday ever if it weren’t for our host! I don’t know how to explain in words how thankful and grateful I am. Illias also has pet kittens alongside neighbour cats and they were just as friendly and gave us great company during our stay too! We had a really memorable and great time and I’ll definitely recommend my friends/family to stay at the cave suite if they visit Santorini. Thank you Illias and Vrbo for everything you have done 💙 (This review is also on the site followed by some other reviews)!

Located in the village of Exo Gonia, was one of many decrepit caves, called iposkafa typicals of Santorini. These traditional dwellings have long been used for their energy-efficient properties, the earth naturally keeps the cave warm in winter and cool in summer. The renovated home matches the original building height, and payment of respect to traditional craftsmanship. The traditional architecture is also reflected in the interior design and furniture. All the traditional architectural elements which are unique to Santorini’s style have been preserved. However, relaxing in suite the visitor enjoys privacy, plenty of natural light and a refreshing atmosphere ensured by the thick walls. The renovation period was lasts from 2018 to 2020 and after so much effort, a volcanic communal wood fired oven of 18th century, transformed to a dreamy cave suite (Illias & Vrbo, 2022).
