I loved the tour and plan to steal your idea of the entry way rock floor, if that is okay with you! I have to admit, as a mom, my favorite part was Matt introducing your children's rooms, it was perfect. I also adopted my child from foster care, she came to live with me at 14 months. She has always had a say on what she wants in her room, even as a toddler. I do have veto power, though. After painting her walls dark raspberry and grape, (it was way too dark), I can say no if I feel the color is not right. Now at 16 years, she knows her sense of style and wants a more adult feeling room. She chose gray. She also knows that I do not have the right to share things that she does not want shared. Choices are important and feeling like they have some control in their lives, when there are so many things that they do not have control over. So, kudos to two parents who understand that their kids' privacy is more important than views. Thank you and I am so proud of both of you.

The house is very nice. I especially liked the finished kitchen. The butcher block top turned out gorgeous. Everything looks so inviting. I also love lots of pillows, the hubs not so much. Told him, get over it they are staying. I absolutely love your outdoor living areas. So beautiful. Thanks for sharing with us.

Really I am amazed at the way your house turned out to be. What is amazing me more, is the overture you had, as a musician and an actor, to learn new crafts necessary to "flip houses" and becoming.. gardeners and farmers and parents and show us in a way that we can think it is easy. It is and awful lot of hard word and time consuming and I don't mention raising 2 kids, giving them sensible values and doing your best to make them good persons. I do not subscribe and follow a lot of couples but you are one of ma very rare addiction. You make me happy. Long life and prosperity boys.

Love the kitchen and bathroom (love the moss green colored bead board, green is my favorite color) and the kitchen layout is more open and functional! The deck is amazing! Matt, that shirt is a lot like the one I had 40 years ago, I wore it until it was all but cotton strings. My mate made me toss it for a new one just like it (because he bought another when I bought the first and just saved it), you know men can be the most thoughtful when they love you. I still wear it today matter of fact, right now, it's my favorite piece of clothing. Nice pad; I loved how you sprayed the popcorn ceiling - I didn't know what to do with it, so I rolled mine, next bug purchase will be an outside paint strayer. After sandblasting all the paint - I will stain it driftwood grey and seal mith mineral spirits, trimming with shiny white.

Your home is stunning! The rooms are Huge! So nice for your family! While growing up I had a cheap hollow-core door on my bedroom. I was able to paint it and put stickers all over on it and write on it. It was so fun. I still have that door today and use it as a craft table. I have three sister's. None of them did this. I guess cause I was the only artsy fartsy one and the three were big into sports. For both of our children we specifically got hollow core doors for their bedrooms; so they could do the same. Our daughters door has stickers from Barney, Beauty and the Beast, horses, cows, Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Nsync, Harry Potter all the way to bumper stickers from Victoria's Secret to the college she went to. Our sons has Barney, Thomas the Train, Star Wars, Buzz Lightyear, Harry Potter, Star Wars, various bands, D&D stickers, Star Wars, bumper stickers from Escape rooms & the college he went to. And did I mention Star Wars! 😉 🤣The two doors will move to the garage for storage next spring; as we plan to replace them with beautiful solid woods doors just like yours. The kids can take them to their homes when they're ready.

We have very similar tastes. The house looks great guys, love the colours you use. I’m redecorating my entrance hall, staircase and first floor landing in October after I close for the season. (B&B) I’m going green this time. Currently white wood panelling and yuk creme anglaise walls above (yeah I know) anyway it’ll look fab by next year.
