A suggestion, Param when you are making these kind of videos you have to be counter questioning not sing a long. That way viewers will get more Qs answered. It looks more like a promotional video. BESCOM 7 Rs / unit Present buying cost 3 Rs / unit. will likely go down can become 0 too. Solar water heater is a better option. Bescom connection is required whether you use or not. You have to have a backup. So minimum charges you have to pay to bescom. 365 days you wont have solar electricity. what is the life of these panels? Interest on the investment should also be deducted for calculations.

pay back period is minimum 7 yrs,assuming there is smooth operation of solar panels,so calculate ur investment vs amount saved, this was my study around 2 yrs back,if u calculate solar panel replacement this cycle goes on,may be Mr,Naveen can answer,And ppl who like solar have never invested in solar except now days solar water heater due to compulson by govt for new houses,may be rough calculation by mr,naveen would help,,for indivdual house its notok,but on bigger scale only profitable

Best is to install ongrid 3kw-5kw max with battery for inverter fridge(150w) mixie(.5 to 1kw) washing machine(.5 to 1kw) and 3BR with 4 BLDC fans(35w) and LED bulbs(20w) or tubelight(30w) DVR/CCTV( 6)-50w and rest 2-5kw using ongrid to sell to mescom for good price i have v presently installed 450w bifacial solar panels which gives upto 3-4 hours per with Max 600w(35v*15a) sometimes even 800w(40v*20a) . it used to give 300w but i tuned MPPT battery charge controller to get 1.5kw but have to manually switch off power to inverter from mescom since the inverter don't shift automatically. had old 12v 200ah exide c10 solar battery and luminous 700w solar hybrid inverter(they said 1000w). it cost me 25k on bad battery and good ups exchange offer. so bought online solar panel (21k) MPPT battery charge controller (8k) stand for two solar panel (8k) and 15m DC dual wires ( 4k), 10sqm connectors for panel but not usable and forced to buy 6sqm and cabling laying cost me 2k and useless tech connector work(500rs). bad advise cost me a lot. but best is to buy 3-5kw inverter(costly online, 50k) with bifacial solar panel (6*20k=1.2 lakhs) plus connectors and wire( 6k Max) and 20amp solar panels* six =120amp or 130amp MPPT battery charge controller (30k?) cable laying 5k and stand for six(24k) meaning 2.5 lakhs atleast. if possible good earthing will mean another 10k-20k and lightning protection (20k)

Kindly provide the right info. Energy selling current earnings is Rs 2 per unit if you take subsidy. Rs 4 earning per unit if you don't take subsidy. Wise thing is to Put your money on FD at bank and earn more money than what you can save and earn from solar energy usage and selling. If the government or energy buying companies pay reasonable money per unit cost and only then it makes sense. I dropped this idea and made a wise decision, also no is taking about the battery and maintenance or shelf life of these batteries. Take any type of battery the max life of battery will be 3 to 5years. So you need to reinvest every 3 to 5years. After my calculation for 5kw I'll get zero earning or negligible earning.

This is net metering system any body can install as per government rules on there home roof top, investment cost as per KILO WATT. Can be used for single phase not for AEH devices. As per my information government rate is 4.30rs per unit for 25 years. Solar panel requires regular cleaning and also production will decrease after some years. Cost will be lakhs for installation after 25 years all panel and equipment goes to scrap. Before installation better check with some companies either solar roof top is affordable or not. If total cost is 5 lakh or more and government pays 4 to 5 thousand every month this is not affordable.
