I am from Spain and not everyone has aircon! My family have it but it is so expensive to have it on that we never use it, we use fans instead. The key to survive the heat is to open all windows at night and close them as soon as it start to get hot in the morning (usually around 11am where I live). Leaving the windows open all day is the biggest mistake! Oh and if you have curtains, close them aswell so the sun doesn't enter the house xx

I’m not sure if someone already said this but for your Swiss cheese plants / monstera, you need your clippings to include the nodes (little nubbins) or aerial roots! They still look so beautiful in the vases though ♥️

We do have aircon but wouldnt have it on at 30"c. The trick is to close your house up.,too much sunlight making it hot. Open the windows early to get the hot air out but close the curtains

I would have liked seeing the trip to the beach to eat the chips. I really like seeing out and about in other people's countries. I do have airco in Australia but I don't put it on unless it is really hot, a couple of days of 40 degrees. I don't have it running over night either. Talk to me about it in a couple of months though as I will probably be working from home still and may be missing the work airco!

Your plants that you are trying to propagate, i can’t see exactly what you’ve done, but to properly propagate, you need to cut under a node ( the nobby bits on the stem) and place that part in water. That is actually roots that can survive in air or in water then to soil.

I think you might be looking for live edge wood? Most local carpenters have a nice selection of many different styles with and without the bark around the edge. Maybe that helps :)

I have the same problem with finding the furniture ( I love retro-industrial style ) and I'm browsing vintage-y sites to find a rare pearl . If I were you I would find a craftman or a local workshop to have your shelf custom-made that way you could choose every detail ( style, type of wood etc). Greetings from Paris

Regarding Nala's paws... my dog used to do the same thing. I felt horrible after a visit to the vet revealed she had bad allergies which was the cause of the licking. Turned out her paws were very itchy and irritated :( After medication, no more licking :)

Hey, there is a product that made an extreme difference for my skin. It’s caudalie vinopure serum with salicylic acid. I only use it in the evening under non comedogenic moisturizer and it did wonders. It cleared little bumps that turn into acne every month. I love it.

Hi Suzie! For your monstera deliciosa (cheese plant), be careful to always cut below a node or aerial root, other wise they can’t grow any roots. and Idont think they would survive a winter outside in the UK as they are tropical plants. Can’t wait to see your garden! and thatgreen house🤩

Oh god nooo 😭 you always need to cut the Monstera oder cheese plant as you call it with of a piece of stem and node on it or otherwise they won’t able to grow new roots.. all of those beautiful leafs will die :( so sad! but you should be able to keep those two big ones with the stem alive! They’ll form new roots in the water within the next weeks/months and you should be able to put them in soil :)
