I love how relatable you are. I get the same way about decorating. Even though I have a good eye and a vision in my head, I get overwhelmed with decision making. I get overwhelmed in general with shopping, even for clothes which is why I follow fashion influencers because they do a lot of the leg work for me. People online make decorating the home look so easy. But it’s really not: lots of trial and error.

Your headboard should be higher and wider than your bed, as wide as the wall permits so as to enlarge the space, it can even go a bit on the side walls, then your lamps should be hanging from the ceiling on both sides of your bed

Good job Freya. I would recommend that you put a mattress cover so the mattress can last longer and protect it from peoples "body fluids." 😅 IKEA has great ones 👌🏼

Loving watching your vlog in your homeowner era… such relatable content. You know we love a luxury purchase, but sometimes we have to prioritise furniture and other things for home. I love watching your vlog in the morning while feeding my baby! It makes me so sad that I’ve packed up all my handbags as I’m only using a huge never full as a baby bag atm. Freya, if you do not like the glass in the wardrobe doors you can paint the glass with normal paint. I have seen it done in an air b&b they painted the glass gold and it looked like a golden door ✨ it was beautiful 😍💖

Hi Freya, have a look at the Pookie lamps that have no need for a plug. They are quite small and you can pick the colour of the pleated shades. I think they might do the job for you on those side tables.

Yes to the wall lamps, vase looks a bit big and the eucalyptus will probably be too tall once you add the lights. I'd add an ottoman to the end of the bed for extra storage and maybe do a small picture frame / candle combo for the other night stand. Also think a portrait over the bed with a gold frame would look nice. I love that you take us with you through this process!

Freya - olive oil, a sprits of lemon juice, salt and pepper is great dressing for a salad when in a pinch!

Freya, your home is beautiful. For the guest bedroom, I think you should get wall lamps or hanging lamps since the space is small, table lamps could look overwhelming and your guests will need the surface to place some items. The nightstands are beautiful btw. Enjoy your new home xx ❤❤

Loved this video so much. Your videos are always so much fun and interesting to watch. It's just a suggestion I have, but try propping your bed pillows up against the headboard. And then prop the cushions up against them. And I think if you purchase a smaller front pillow it will look perfect. I think by doing these little changes it will make a big impact in how your bed looks. The linens you picked out are so gorgeous. Your taste is beautiful and you are doing great so far. Tubing mascara has make a huge difference for me because my mascara used to transfer that bad. If you’re opposed to tubing mascara then I would suggest Armani Eyes to Kill Waterproof. Love you and your videos! Congrats on the home-it’s gorgeous! You’re a huge inspiration to me! ❤

Tip: make a list on your phone, per room what you need. Include sizes and quanteties. You can make checklists which you can tick off. Also: Ikea is your biggest friend in this! Bedding, lamps, kitchenware....éverything! And só cheap! Good luck!! ❤

Reese needs to put a bagger on the back of that lawn mower. It will collect the trimmings and keep things from flying back at his legs. Also love watching you shopping for house items! It's so fun to create your living space! I never had a decorator but they would be a lot of help if you have the money to pay them. I do love the various Pinterest pics you've been showing. Maybe use some of those for decoarating inspiration/ideas.

Hi Freya , this entire wall behind the bed should be a headboard. I would make decorative frames / panels and paint that wall dark gray, black ( don’t be scared black in rooms look amazing 😊) the lamps are too thick and too short , they are taking to much space I would buy something skinny and long, just my suggestion. or see if you like the lamps that hang on the wall above the bedside table 😊. Freya piece of advice give yourself a time when it comes to interior design. The longer you are there, the more ideas you will have about what you need and what you like, trust me on that. Linen bedding it’s a big no no, wrinkles a lot and is not nice to the skin and hair. Look for something with silk for your bedroom. When it comes to lamps and other decor pieces go to TK Maxx/Home sense, everytime you go there you'll find something else. Happy hunting xxx
