This song feels a lot like Space Song without the melancholy. It's like saying "I'll see you again friend" and leaving for an indefinite amount of time, but having a hope that you WILL in fact see them again. Space Song, on the other hand, is like saying "Farewell" and then expecting that you both will go separate ways.

This song is commonly associated with SummoningSalt, as many people know. But it’s also a nostalgic masterpiece people recognize from many different sections of the Internet. To me, this signifies the ending of a long journey with a positive ending. Just know, if people are on a quest to overtake you, the most likely to do it is yourself. You have the capabilities to be a better you. Have a good day.

This is choco mountain. It's the third course of the flower cup in nintendo's Mario Kart 64, And honestly, It dosen't look too crazy at first glance. Its just a brown course with a white sky. No crazy up side down, or underwater driving in the newer games. The walls are practically right on top of you, so you don't really have much room to navigate around the track. But you see, This course has a bit of a reputation. There's a group of people who've been battling each other for the past couple of decades to finish the course in world record time. What attracts these gamers to choco mountain in particular? Welp, probably the fact that this course can be absolutely, and completely broken.

@conalfisher7653 жыл бұрын
I can probably list a few just by ear: 1: It starts off quite empty, and develops, adding a synth ostinato, bassline, and drumbeat. You get similar timbral progression in most electronic music of this style, it's a very useful way to build a song without needing to develop harmonically or melodically (meaning without changing chords or adding a melody). Similar ideas can be found in classical music, from the beginning of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony to Debussy's Clair de Lune. I'd highly, HIGHLY recommend listening to the beginnings of those two pieces if you're unfamiliar with them (Beethoven 9 is where Ode to Joy is from btw). 2: It uses a 4 chord loop, I think I - ii - IV - ivm6. You don't need to know what those chords mean, only that the last 2 chords, IV and ivm6, create a "minor plagal cadence", which has a very sorta melancholy vibe. 3: It's in a very odd tuning. If you try and play it on an instrument you'll find it impossible to get it tuned correctly. That's because the key of this piece is in between Db and D major, which you could call "D half flat major". It's what's called "microtonal tuning", and it's very rare in western music, due to it being effectively impossible to play on instruments; you couldn't play on the notes in between the keys of a piano, for example, you could only play the notes on the piano. 4: The synth sound has a sorta pulse to it, if you listen closely. Also, it just has a nice tone colour. 5: The chords are big, with a strong perfect fifth in the bass (another music term, it makes it sound super stable)

ooh this is giving me goosebumps just listening to it. It has that feeling of making you feel like you've accomplished something extraordinary and you are now finally ending your adventure after a long journey. All the while also hinting that it is only the start of a new journey; there's still much more to be explored, and much more to be discovered! Just like in speedruns. And that's why this is so great! this should be the anthem for speedrunning lol
