Thank you Mon. I love to get a tour of IKEA and you describe all these fabulous items so well, like a private tour. I can only get to go to IKEA once in a while and it's a big slday out for me. I also love the Swedish meatballs and Lingonberry sauce and a nice lunch. Did IKEA stop the fabric and sewing section, they did a while ago in the store ai go to in Philadelphia USA. ❤

It was interesting to watch. There really wasn’t anything I needed and I don’t buy just to change up or for the sake of buying. I did however, love those blue and white tea cups but would use them for small cacti and succulents rather than for tea. I might be tempted to put them on my wishlist for my birthday as they are inexpensive and useful. As for the baskets, they were beautiful but seemed pricey for their size. I know things are getting pricier these days but as they aren’t something I need, I would probably be looking for some in the charity shops. I also sew, quilt, and crochet, so could make myself many different baskets if necessary if I could not find a bamboo or rattan basket in a charity shop. As much as I lve the useful things from IKEA, I prefer going to charity shops or Vinted to buy these things secondhand for any redecorating. Although I agree that ceiling lampshade was simply stunning and looked far more expensive than it was. Sadly I do not need a new ceiling lampshade lol. The chopping board oil though, now that is a fantastic find, and not just to use on your chopping boards, either. Any wooden items, such as bowls, platters, plates, spoons, etc and even the wooden decor items such as balls, eggs, mushrooms, etc are ALL usually in need of being oiled also so that they do not crack and split from getting too dry, especially if you have central heating in your home. Any wooden item that has not been sealed with varnish will thank you for treating it with the mineral oil, most especially if it gets washed regularly such as chopping boards, wooden spoons and so on. A bottle will last for a long time as you do not need much and even on your chopping boards they only need it once every 6-8 months. Thank you for sharing what is in the shop.our closest IKEA is a 2 hour drive away, so we do not visit often and because we live in rural Scotland they don’t deliver to us, so I never go on their website unless we are planning to visit the city and that particular store. But I enjoy shopping with others and seeing what is available.
