Become a part of this place of inspiration with worldwide impact - Stepping Stones - Historic Home of Bill & Lois Wilson.
Stepping Stones is the home of Alcoholics Anonymous cofounder Bill W. and Al-Anon Family Groups cofounder Lois W. The National Historic Landmark since 2012 is where Bill and Lois Wilson moved in 1941 after two years without a home. The work, writing, and events that took place at Stepping Stones were central to the worldwide growth of 12-Step recovery, which continues to change millions of lives today. Stepping Stones is the founding place of Al-Anon Family Groups and features a memorabilia gallery curated by Lois Wilson. The "Homecoming" video introduces the home (c.1920), Bill's writing studio ("Wit's End"), their 10,000 original objects, highlights from their 100,000 manuscripts and photographs, and more. These materials are lovingly preserved with the help of friends like you and help share the story and legacy of the Wilsons. Watch the 14-minute video and go to www.steppingst... to learn more. Stepping Stones offers tours, virtual events, off-site presentations, a play based on the Wilson's writings, volunteer and remote volunteer opportunities, and more. The tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit Stepping Stones Foundation was created in 1979 by Lois W. to foster public understanding of alcoholism by preserving and sharing the home, archive, and legacy of the Wilsons.
