Stinging nettle seeds are one of nature's greatest gifts! 🌱 Bursting at their little green seams with vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, antioxidants, adaptogens, and more! 💚
Enjoyed for centuries as a wild and free source of food and medicine, nettle seeds can be eaten fresh, sprinkled on meals, blended into smoothies and pestos, infused with honey, or added to any dish you fancy. 🍯
Although these seeds are little, they have big health benefits. They are able to: 👇
🌱 Boost Energy and Vitality
🌿 Enhance our Immune System
🌱 Improve Skin and Hair Health
🌿 Support Kidney and Urinary Health
🌱 Boost Mental Clarity and Mood
🌿 Balance Blood Sugar and Hormones
🌱 Provide Anti-inflammatory Benefits

I’ve recently started utilising the wonderful power of these seeds. A tea spoon of dried seeds into my kefir and frozen fruit smoothie each morning has given me a wakefulness with even only a few hours sleep to get through my shifts at work without using caffeine which is only a placebo that tires my neurospicy brain lol

Stinging nettle seeds are great for poultry, my turkeys go out of their way to eat them and my chickens eat the bits the turkeys drop because they aren't tall enough to pick their own. I cook with nettles a lot so will share a recipe that I call Bubble and Sting. It is like Bubble and Squeak but with steamed nettles replacing the cabbage, when mixed with left over mashed spuds and then fried it is absolutely heavenly. I live in Bulgaria and all parts of the nettle are used for food and medicine, there is a great herbal medicine tradition here and if you go to see your GP you are just as likely to be prescribed herbal medicine as big pharma stuff. At the moment I am gathering artemesia, we are going to add it to our apricot rakia (demon, home made spirit) for a new take on absinthe.

I've suffered from hay fever for years And the thing I've found is that nettle tea is the best thing to help me through the day. I pick them fresh with some mint leaves. Brew them up in a pan. And drink it throughout the day. Sometimes add some raw honey. The young leaves at the top are best.

Hi, have you ever tried pickling them to preserve? Or made a non-alcohol tincture with them please? I picked some the other day as they had drawn their attention to me. I felt an immediate lift in consciousness and awareness (much needed as I've felt pretty 'dense' for a while now! Haha). I live in a very old static van which is a bit damp so just drying them doesn't do too well for me. Thank you. On the off-chance I did a tiny jar of seeds in apple cider vinegar to see what happens. 🙂

I have a very large patch of nettles next to my house. I always wondered about them because the seeds I got from them look different than the photos I've seen of nettle seeds. Now after watching your video, I think my entire patch is male plants. May I please ask, 1. Is it possible to have a patch of male-only plants? 2. So the "seeds" on the male plant are not good for medicine? I have been harvesting them for several years. I love the way they taste and use them as a seasoning on food.

Perhaps an important sidenote: Nettle is a powerfull agent to bind heavy metals in her being from the soil, it is because of the magnesium ions in her abundant chlorofyl. Advisable not to collect around heavy industry, busy roads or otherwise poluted grounds.. This also means, when the magnesium ions are vacant, they are able to withdraw heavy metals from out bodies and thus a strong detoxifier.
