Arrogant carrie meets her match and i absolutely love how not affected Quinn seems and even disarms Carrie by complimenting her work when she seems hostile towards him. he afftected her with thay compliment, nervous hair fixing shows that. Absolutely best performance from Rupert here. Amazing chemistry. Ten times more chemistry here than she ever had with Brody

There was tense chemistry the moment they met. For me, the chemistry between them, even so no real words were spoken, was way more intense, then Carrie's romance with Brody. There was never a happy ending for Quinn, he was just not that type, but he would have deserved at least one real moment with Carrie, a moment that would made him really felt loved.

@@ingridmay66 it wasn't exactly like that. Carrie didn't say no, she just asked for a bit of time because she was doubting herself in terms of her disorder. Quinn gave her no time, he just decided that she didn't want him and fled. She kept searching for him with no luck because he didn't want to be found by her. He decided that he wasn't cut for a relationship, he didn't give himself a chance. I think their bond was very strong and there could have been a love story but rightfully the writers didn't want that because the fragile love cut down at the root makes much more drama.

I have no idea what the world of black ops is actually like, but quinn strikes me as a he'll of a lot more realistic than james bond, etc. Quinn has a lot of the same skills, but he reacts to all the killing he's asked to do like a human being - he's traumatized by it, and it slowly deadens him. Also, I liked that he couldn't just withstand any physical injury. We can say that Quinn was one of the best-built characters in history - alongside Carrie, Saul, Brody, Dar Adal and Astrid, Virgil, Fara, Max... It would be possible to clarify the following doubts: - Would you like to see Homeland reveal how the CIA explained Brody in Iran and his death to the American press? - Clearly, Javadi's ability to receive credit for Brody's capture helped his cause in Iran, but did the US government reveal Brody's role in Akbari's murder? - Was your name cleared for the CIA attack? I'd love to know what you think. - Another loose thread: Paul Franklin and the murder of the "real" CIA bomber. He ended up doing that scene ... why ?? - What happened to Virgil after season 3? As he is Max's brother, we learned in season 6 that his surname is Piotrowski. Carrie was publicly humiliated, beaten, doped, shot and put her life on the line countless times without hesitation, just to make others see Brody as she saw him ... and she succeeded. Abu Nazir, the CIA, Jessica and the show's own audience, no one came close to seeing Brody with the clarity Carrie has always seen. Carrie has always read Brody like no one else. Ah, Carrie's dialogue with Javadi was incredible, it will be one of the most memorable moments in the series, without a doubt! “And what you wanted, which was for everyone to see what you see in him. That happened. Everyone sees it through your eyes now ... ” - How did Carrie see Brody? and how did the US come to see this? It's the world?

God! Rupert Friend is like one of the most amazing in Homeland, even though I only saw the first episode of the first season… In The Boy in the striped Pajamas, he had a German accent, The Kid (2010) and Obi Wan series he had a British accent, but him in American accent is excellent👍🏼✌🏼👏

The part where he says his family is from Pennsylvania and Harvard breaks me knowing he was actually an orphan and Dar took advantage of him. I'm sure that goes around a lot in real life people in power taking advantage of their positions.

Peter Quinn says something generally weird (e.g. “So I’m only half a moron,” “Like you’ve never seen a dick before,” “…stage five delusional getting laid,” etc.) now your heart explodes with love for him nonetheless . Out of all the badass spies I have seen over the years Peter Quinn is the most realistic one! I would have liked to see if Carrie would meet her match in Quinn. There were some romantic sparks between Peter and Carrie over the years, and there was the letter he left for her when he was leaving on a dangerous mission, the photo of her she found among his things after his death. Why do you think the romance between them never fully developed? Because the writers weren’t interested in developing a romance between them... Unfortunately Brody's story is tragic. He was a Marine who was destroyed and rebuilt by the enemy to be defeated repeatedly. Pushed back and elsewhere. His loyalty was to whoever gave him the best chance to survive. He never had a chance. No one can judge you by the horrors you endured. And also the ones he caused. Having to live and observe the lives he destroyed around him took everything away from him. Only Carrie hoped to find redemption for him. Brody knew his destiny was to die. In her last moments, she made a point of being there. To witness it, its truth, its history when it finally came to an end. Brody was loyal to Carrie in the end.
