You should do random character but pick the cameo. I feel like it makes more sense with how dependent some characters are on a cameo. Plus it would be cool to see you use different characters with their full potential.

When the light raises ... we see the face of his defeated opponent on the back of a milk carton! Homelander then triumphantly grasps, squeezes, and chugs the milk from the carton!

I just started playing MK recently. I bought MKX, 11 and 1 (probably sticking to 1). Don’t get me wrong I can practice all day and do some ok strings (50% on MKX so far, on ONE character. How are these people doing massive combos on every single character they touch? What the fuck am I missing here? I get it lots of lab time and I’m all for that.. but to pick up every single character and bust out crazy strings???
