Hi there, Some tables do include dining top storage solutions, such as Montfort tables or the Signature Strickland with under-table storage. Equally, a number of tables (especially in the Signature Luxury range) have padding underneath the top itself to protect both it as well at the table's top frame.

What a really good informative video ! Really liked it , quick question about the balls once they’ve been potted, the noise running down the rails and hitting the guide walls on return etc is there any foam or sponge etc you guys can use to get rid of that noise on ball return etc

Foam (and sometimes even carpet) is used in some ball returns for this very reason. It depends on the table as to whether it's installed or not. :)

so while the dining table looks cool and you say plays well, i noticed that it doesnt sit quite as high as a regular pool table. i'm 6'3 and i imagine it would hamper they play ability for someone of my size.

This is true cincycamel. In their standard height they are about 77cm high. A normal dining table is around 75cm, whilst a pool table is usually 80cm to 82.5cm high. There are a few solutions though: 1) the leg levellers can be set higher - there is about 5cm of adjustment. 2) we can have a table built to a higher height for you - we've done this for several customers in the same position. 3) choose the Aramith Fusion pool dining table which has leg adjusters which go down to 75cm and then can go up to 82cm - you can see all about it on our website link below. Plastic table cloth, with regular table cloth on top.

Sorry, I have only just spotted your question. I would recommend using a waterproof table cloth to prevent any such issues. Some customers use the plastic cover that we supply with the table to place over the playing surface, then put the dining tops on top of this and then their choice of normal table cloth. Either solution works, it's whatever you prefer the look of. Thanks for the question.

the problem with the table in the example is the table height would be to tall to get you arms on the table when sitting on a chair and would feel uncomfortable to eat at., and that would be ok if you could use taller chairs but you cant because them your legs would not fit. The table needs to be about 6 cm thinner than the example shown

Your website states that the Monfort Lewis cabinet is only 13cm, however in this video you measured it as 14cm. Is this due to a typo on the website or has the Lewis been revised since this video to only be 13cm? In research these dining pool tables it's seeming to me that the narrower cabinet is critical for being suitable for dining. Also, you mention that the dining top adds another 1 to 2 cm. Can you advise which? (these cms start to add up quickly and combined have the potential to make an uncomfortable dining height imho) - I'm trying to see what would be the actual heights, etc. Thanks for any insight!

What's on the website reflects what's in the manufacturer's latest table specifications that they send us. The Lewis we shot in the showroom was one of our original display tables, so is quite an old model. :)

Raise table to accommodate dining..... No way.... Shortened your chairs instead...... Comfortable for a couple hours a couple days a year or uncomfortable pool playing all the other days..... Easy decision that any one would make

The only negitive effects from dining pool table is reduction in Xmas/Bday gifts from grand parents when your ordering them to finish the Thanksgiving meal so you and your others siblings can begin doing what they actually came hours for.... Getting their butts whipped on your pool table that they are wasting time with sitting there nibble on yams and cranberry sauce

Keep those dining tops in storage rental .... No need to encourage any children or wife from taking your real enjoyment from life temporarily (promised it woulf be yet in reality those school projects /womens group event gatherings always become overtime endeavors from non family participants that can be extra early and motivated to give maximum efforts to vacate your personal space..... You know.... Get a real table and prevent this from occurring in 1st place
