I've been homeless, and most of my friends have been or are homeless. The worst part isn't the homelessness or lack of money, it's how cold everyone treats you. Like you're not even human. They treat animals better than they treat us.

Honestly this game hits me hard. I was abandoned by my family in a foreign country at 15, i was homeless for an entire year until someone managed to get hold of my grandparents in Canada and tell them that their grandchild was homeless, I'm now in a loving home with real family and continuing to finish grade 12. I hope people see this and become a little more charitable because honestly while I was homeless most of my money was spent helping other people on the streets. People tend to care more when someone is a child but that doesn't mean that adults need it any less. Wow guys I didn't think so many people would see this let alone care, thanks for all the positive messages and OML even blitz saw this 😱 I'm doing better now and I'm with so many kind people supporting me! • I feel like I need to address this, I did not post this for fame honestly this is the first time I've ever commented something and gotten more than 10 likes, homelessness isn't a joke, it's not something to make up or say you have dealt with if you haven't, it has a toll on people and has mentally messed me up and I would not see why people would lie about being homeless if they never were. I posted this just hoping that people would see this and have hope, I didn't do it expecting to get over 900 likes and amazing people saying that they wish me well. I appreciate all the love and support ❤

Its painful to watch him try to analyze this as the game aspect, trying to keep his food up all the time. You have to got hungry at times to get the better items, much like real homeless do... sometimes they have to got a day or two with out food, because there saving up there money to buy a jacket, or blanket. Which in the long run will save them from the weather

This game is so moving because in the city near me they are lots of homeless people and i dont have any money to give to them. If i have money i give to a homeless person if i see one. It makes me happy when i see people give money to the homeless. You never know if you will be in that type of situation one day

This game is spot on... I was homeless for a year and a half until I got helped by a man who worked at the hospital. (Currently living with him) I’m still rebuilding my life, went to take an a+ certification class and passed the first part.. will be taking the next half on Monday of next week.. always had dreams of being an IT.. seeing this on KZbin I had to watch.. looking down in the comments I see situations not very much different than my own. In particular what made me get emotional is when the character begged.. a lot of people don’t see a homeless person as a human being. I can’t discount the fact that some people will help though. Love people though even though some will hate you..

This games name, "change" on one hand, could literally mean the change that the homeless man collects. On the other hand, it could mean the change in his life, and how it will change in the future... It could also mean how his personality and perception on life has "changed"

Well, that’s pretty ignorant of them. My father is that kind of person too. Just give the homeless a bit of your pocket money sometimes. I do that too. The whole immigration panic (and the hostility towards the poor and homeless in general) is misinformation. People (especially politicians) need to find a scapegoat for their/the country’s problems, and is there anything easier than blaming it on the poor and defenseless..?😑 And use your common sense. Who would want to sleep on the streets rather than work?! NO. ONE. But people believe anything said by guys in fancy suits on TV.

As someone who never(*like literally*), never wants anything to go wrong, this scares me. To know that one thing happened wrong which changed your life would be extremely devastating for me. I've had dreams, such as running away from family then being lost, eventually dying of starvation/dehydration, or anything that can happen that causes fear to anyone. your "calm" gameplay makes me realize some thing. there's nothing to be afraid of. even if it all goes wrong, there's still something you can do. thank you :) if u have bothered to read this comment may you be showered with happiness.

I was by our local Walmart and a man and a dog was sitting there. He was begging and I could see how hard he was trying, so I went inside and got him a jug of water, canned food and dog food. He was really happy and I feel it’s better to give them food or clothes etc instead of money because addictions and stuff. Plus people spend more on the items, it would probably take them awhile to afford it

I feel for the homeless out there, and I do try to help when I can. But I'm also weary to help out sometimes. There's a man we used to see walking around alot, that we thought was homeless, was dirty, layered clothes, always had his hand out asking. We gave him a 20 one day and were behind him in line at the grocery store, and he pulled out a wad of cash, mostly 20s and had to have at least 400-500 bucks there, paid and walked outside, got in a car with someone and drove off. After that we have a hard time really trusting if someone really needs the money or if they are just trying to scam people. But I try not to let a few dishonest people stop me from trying to help people who actually need it.

One of the biggest tips I can give, is to stay in the library during weather. It keeps happiness and hygiene up. Also, garbage cans are only for when you are desperate. Hygiene goes down, and you can get sick.

I know of a hot spot corner by a highway exit ramp and my mom and I often give the homeless people bags of food and snacks, instead of money because you know it’s something they can use right away. (We also feed the dogs people sometimes have too.)

I did a project on homelessness. It was kind of like science fair but we called it game changer. I think that greatly impacted me to really feel for the homeless. I really try to give them money but I’m only 10 so it’s hard, I feel the best thing I can do is convince my parents that they’ll give them money.
