I highly doubt that neighborhood has an HOA. They'd be all over that property about the yard and everything else. This particular house is the only good reason to have an HOA. Personally, I will never buy a house in an HOA. No way in Hell will I have someone else tell me what color to paint my house, how to keep my yard, none of that communist HOA nonsense for me.

So have missed you guys!!! Glad you are back at it ….. and so is a grateful city!!! I cannot contain myself….. YOU ARE RE-MOWING WITH A FINISHING CUT THAT COLLECTS THE CLIPPINGS. What a gorgeous finished landscape that makes!!! You two work in such a coordinated way!!!! The blowing with the blower while the mowing is in progress REALLY gets the job done in the quickest BEST possible way! When you collect the clippings, it looks like someone is living there. When tall grass is mowed and left in deep wind-rows, it looks like it is an abandoned property once over lightly …. and says “ no one lives here”. When you make the finished product look so nice, vagrants won’t be so apt to vandalize or occupy the place. God Bless You Both !!!! Great work!!! Though do wish you could work out an arrangement with the city wherein you call them when you finish a salvaged yard for them to send city sanitation truck out to pick up green waste, tree debris and trash … both cast off big stuff and bagged trash. You have to ask in this world to get anything 😊. You do such a service to keeping the curbside maintained and the gutters free flowing after debris is removed that the city counsel should be willing to do there part. Your work keeps property values up…. Their source of revenue through tax evaluations!! Love you guys!

They pick up green waste (yard clippings and small stacks of limbs) every week. It has to be in a city approved recyclable bag. Trash is also picked up every week. They could just leave it at the curb. It wouldn’t make sense for the city to send a truck out to pick up one bag of clippings and trash.

Always impressed with your level of lawn care. Some guys don't collect the grass clippings, trash or woody debris when they cut lawns especially at abandoned or vacant homes. The homeless man was a seemingly healthy young guy - perfectly capable of working! I'd presume he doesn't have utilities, so I've gotta wonder what condition the inside is like. If a realtor was selling it, they definitely fell down on the job. You both did amazing work! I'm always impressed that you take up the clippings - so many don't!

It was good to let the neighbor know about the presence of the man. Hopefully, the gentleman will be able to secure employment and move.

The sad part of these makeovers is that the neglect shows on the lawns. You do a perfect job of lawncare, but they don't look green and velvety like the neighbor's. You can see how stressed the grass is after the weeds take over or the leaves smothered it. I'm sure they look gorgeous once it gets sun and rain. YOU SAVED THIS LAWN!!

This is just magic. Mowing the lawn where a homeless man is living. So much benefit. Having seen the desperate situation some people live in, it's good he has some place to stay that isn't a cardboard box. Obviously the property owner (probably a bank) doesn't care. I hope his situation improves!
