@@Michael-mv3kcand what are you doing to help people, Mr. Curmudgeon? He doesn’t have to do any of it. People give him money to help others. I doubt it’s making him rich. He clearly acknowledges that he could not help others on his own without help from viewers, which is fair enough. I don’t see jerks like Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg or Elon Musk out on the streets helping people or even donating any of their insane fortunes to help people in need. Those jerks didn’t get rich on their own. They got rich due to the back-breaking work of underpaid staffers. The US is the richest, most powerful, country in the world, yet it treats its population like crap. There is absolutely no reason why poverty stricken people in the US should be worse off than they are in many third world countries. The US could easily afford adequate housing for every homeless person in the US. Many of the people Knate encounters on the streets and helps out would not at all be in this dire situation in most other Western countries that have a social system that is actually there for the people.

Knate are you able to help him get the County Services that he will need? I am not sure what Reno offers? Or is it even the right City for him? This is tragic to hear how he grew up. But sounds like he definitely needs help getting an ID and also getting County Services. It will be a while for him to get a job, unless you could be a mentor to him and advocate for him as he job searches. Given what he has been through -- he may need some mental health services as well. Sounds like he has been through so much trauma. Thank you again Knate.
