Me being a mechanic this makes absolutely no sense. Blue smoke and valve seals go together. What doesn’t is putting them in from underneath the car. You have to open the engine compartment and remove the valve cover and the valve springs and most likely the camshafts to get to the valve seals. It’s usually a several hour process on some vehicles it’s longer than that because you need to remove the whole cylinder head. This man definitely scammed her. Ha ha ha either that or he prayed over it. You might be able to fix a scraping or dragging muffler in 10 minutes 😂
