If I can offer some advice, as someone who's had to starve many times recently and miss meals, if you're at a calorie deficit in some ways you need to remember calories from food is a measurement of heat. So if you get cold, like during the rainy season, it can become hard to work as now your body has lost heat and will try to replenish but if you don't take in enough food you won't have the energy. So remember-cold affects your diet. I would recommend-eat 30 minutes before you need to be productive. You can function on smaller, simple tasks while at a calorie deficit but anything complex using the ol' brain becomes hard. therefore-eating and getting that energy boost will help you do stuff and that way you can spend your energy. My apologies if this is too arrogant or assuming of me. Stay strong man. If you want, additionally setting up a patreon for overseas fans to maybe have a direct way to help you might not be a bad idea. Depending on what you feel ok with. Best wishes.

I don't know if you'll see this, but, having been homeless for 5 years (off and on, but mostly on), please please be mindful of food. I actually got diabetes, type 2, from the little I ate, and what I was eating when I was homeless. Just try and keep up your nutrients and protein. Carbs are great for energy, but, make sure you're getting fiber too, the insulin spikes can take a toll over time. My type 2 is in remission now, but it wasn't easy, and I wouldn't wish that situation on my worst enemy. Cup noodles aren't necessarily bad (just can be REALLY high in sodium) but if you can, throw some veggies and meat in there, it makes a huge difference (it'll make you feel full while eating less, so you'll have more). Take care, and be well.

@@NomadPush Hey, I found out from another KZbinr with 600000 subs, that there were changes made to notification alerts. She contacted KZbin, her view count was significantly lower and her followers were not getting notifications. She found out subscribers are are no longer notified when a content creator posts unless they have ALL three of these steps completed. First: Subscribe Second: Enable the notification bell Third: VERY IMPORTANT - SUBSCRIBERS must go into their account settings and turn on the notifications tab for all subscribed content. I believe many people are unaware of this requirement. Here is how to activate the third step: Click on the profile thumbnail (top right corner) > Click on the settings (wheel icon) > Click on Notifications > Under GENERAL > Under "Your Preferences" go to the option which says "Subscriptions: Notify me about activity from the channels I'm subscribed to" Turn the tab on. I was wondering about this, I hadn't seen alerts for your videos and several other youtubers I follow. You might want to make mention of it, as you are pushing 55000> 100000----> 1M.

Robin has bigger balls than most of us watching tbh. He left his job, because he felt like he was unappreciated, valued his dignity more than being mistreated, now he is on a journey, living the ultimate freedom, with tens of thousands of fans who adore him. It can be a lesson to value oneself, I think it is testament to who Robin is as a person.

Heat up water.. and put it in a bottle and stuff it in your sleeping bag. Just make sure it’s a tight screw top. It helps a lot!! Also.. put your air mattress inside your sleeping bag.. if you have two air mattresses better.. one inside one outside. ❤ helps a lot!! To stay warm! Wool wool wool it’s itchy but stays warm even when wet! Also.. you can hard boil eggs.. or add eggs to the noodles I do that for protein and flavor. 😊 I love camping! Have lots of hints!

Hope you were able to get some sleep during that crazy storm. I learned from much campingo in Canada, to have a warm blanket underneath you or between you and the ground or mattress as the cold ground or the air mattress will take your body heat from you. I pray peace, protection, health and comfort for you. ❤😊

My suggestion is that you place your tent up on a couple of pallets when it is a risk for floods. You can find them behind stores and you can use cardboard to make a floor on top of the pallets. You could even stack pallets like a pyramid like for the first layer lay four on the bottom and then two on top...it would be higher and keep your stuff dry.
@toastybisks
@toastybisks 7 ай бұрын
I would suggest looking into getting a tarp for inside of your tent to put on the ground. With one that's big enough, you could spread it to the walls of the tent and use the excess around the edges to sort of waterproof the bottom and corners of the tent.
@christinesorensen8050
@christinesorensen8050 7 ай бұрын
Yea I was thinking the same. Especially if he’s able to stay there awhile, since his friend owns the campground, maybe he could even do some other things to make it more stable, maybe even some way of a better floor than tarp.

My favorite cheap meal, is either tofu and rice (freeze the tofu, then dry and roll in potato starch), or hash brown and egg. Both are under a dollar per serving, filling full meal. Also theres indomie for 59 cent a pack is great. you need maybe a rice cooker so you can use electricity when you have it. Also they have these compressor fridges that are so efficient you can run on a solar panel, for your rice or perishables, called something like 12v car compressor refrigerator, get some 100 -200 watt panels on sale and hook to any power bank, and can use solar?

@Chimmbeez I think Bruh, Brō, Bruv, & Brother all work across the globe, no ? In Asia I got to meet many people from your country: they were looking for situations that they said were becoming not possible to do in your home geo-political entity. They’d say that what Robin is doing is too dangerous to do there. Do go agree ? The part I can certify as truth is that Japan and Taiwan are remarkably safe, compared to the Earth at large.

@@miahconnell23 Yeah Japan in particular seems much safer than a lot of places around the globe, especially for such a modern & populated country. What Robin is doing would be very difficult to do here where I live in South Africa due to crime... And yeah I guess "bru" is just another version of brother/bro etc... :)

That cold rainy day type of weather always makes me sleep better than anything else. I love when it's chilly but not COLD, so you can bundle up under lots of blankets and stay super cozy. That noodle bowl looks way bigger and tastier than the ones we have here! Also I'm in the same boat as you with needing food that's cheap and filling but also healthy. I really love beef but the prices in America for it are insane now, so I only have it a few times per year. Hi Robin! Nomad Push channel subs count is awesome! Let’s continue to help Robin so he doesn’t not have to sleep in the cold and get him hot meals. Love the new tent and glad you got power! It’s great you have more room to move around but the bottom of new tent is bare. It’s good you have power source now to have hot noodles. Take care!

It's fascinating to me how different homeless culture is compared to the USA. You travel between cities, keep yourself clean, and do KZbin work on your travels. It is more what I would expect of a backpacker here in the USA. Love the videos 👍

Different culture. When I was homeless in the USA there were a lot of all walks of life but I ended up in a religious cult. Religion, drugs, gun violence, and booze are big problems here in the USA

It's chilly in the morning here in the US still but it usually warms up in the afternoon. Im still on the mend after my gallbladder surgery. Everything is healing up good and I should return to work Tuesday. Way to go on 55k subscribers, i wish you the best of luck robin.

Sorry about your surgery. I have gallbladder problems which were severe. I took super enzymes with ox bile in them and it helped immensely. No more gallbladder attacks as long as I take the super enzymes. I read online that after gallbladder surgery it's good to take probiotics or the super enzymes and or the ox bile capsules. Because once removed, it's hard for body to digest the fatty stuff like when you eat hot dogs. Just thought I'd share the info with you and hope it helps. Ox bile will help with any negative effects from surgery in my opinion. Peace

@@kaylancor Honestly the worst part is not getting the right amount of sleep, my body has basically adjusted to what I eat now. When I first commented I woke up about 20 minutes prior to that getting about 5 hours of sleep. I'm used to at least 8 hours of sleep.

*When life gives you lemons, make lemonade* is a proverbial phrase used to encourage optimism and a positive can-do attitude in the face of adversity or misfortune. Lemons suggest sourness or difficulty in life; making lemonade is turning them into something positive or desirable.
