Couldn't you convince one governor like the governor of Minnesota? To say, let's come on, we're totally sincere in a business way that would be profitable for everyone involved in helping people create more jobs. Have nurses and PC's go to their homes. Get them into homes like through a section. 8 program where the government pays rent the state pays them rent to the homeowner. And begin building that way to see a result in getting people into school pregnancy programs or whatever. They have available within that state. But I personally feel like there means to be way more in that area of that printer ship programs and things to help people, not everyone can read well, but they can do hands-on. There's many different situations while creating jobs. And PC s being able to go to their homes assist with issues. Find out where people are really? At a start one State and see,

Since the early 1980s, America has faced a decline in education, which has contributed to issues like poverty, homelessness, and immigration. Selfishness, greed, and decadence within society are at an all-time high. This decline is exacerbated by the pervasive misinformation spread by mainstream media outlets such as MSNBC, FOX, and CNN, as well as platforms like KZbin and Facebook. The constant stream of misleading information fosters paranoia, ultimately influencing the ballot box's behaviour. Questioning how to repair a broken society is, at best, fruitless at this juncture. American culture can only be repaired when the lower classes start trusting each other regardless of racial, political or religious affiliation. This will end badly for America if the lower classes persist in blaming each other for their misfortunes. Those misfortunes are exacerbated by liberal NeoCon capitalism to divide the lower classes, furthering the wealth gap. The elitist only cares for one thing: their wealth! They don't want an educated lower class to get ahead; they prove it daily. Gouging education, healthcare, food, and fuel costs are a clear indication of their decadence and intent to harm society's working class and poor. If blame is placed, it should be squarely placed on those elitists. Liberal NeoCons have no problem sleeping with Government officials, whether Republicans or Democrats. Those same officials prosper with guarantees and promises that work against We the People. It is genuinely astonishing that most of America denies truth and facts. It's pretty simple, like day and night. The corporate cog elects those elected into the government cog. The motion of those cogs is greased with the promise of prosperity, Not We the People, due to ignorance. Those who hold wealth are not Patriotic; they are traitors not only to our Constitutional values but to humanity as a whole. They are the enemies, not the poor, not your fellow working-class or the immigrant whose only crime is seeking safety in a very unsecured America. BRICS will ensure that insecurity. FOOTNOTE: Reader, you got this far. Now you have been educated, this is the time to reevaluate priorities. What will you do to fix these inequalities? 2025 will be a wake-up for all of us!

@cubey16 күн бұрын
The great depression was arguably better, as far as govt response. There was a 90% top tax rate and govt jobs programs. The reason FDR enacted such policies is because of the real communist popularity going on at the time. There's no threat like that currently, hence why they're not doing crap.
@TheOriginalNekoAutomata16 күн бұрын
Personally, I'd say it's more like the industrial revolution(at least the first ~2/3 of it). Then, they had shanty towns, or "Hoovervilles". Now, we have tent towns, homeless encampments, and people trying to live in cheaply made/ run-down camper trailers. People back then used to be packed into apartments like sardines. Now days, there is a trend of people sharing an apartment with as many people that they can legally get away with(it would probably be worse if there weren't laws for health and safety like there was in the past). The reason I say it's more like the industrial revolution, is that, while yes the economy is doing better(at least on paper), the ordinary person wasn't benefiting much from that growth if at all. However, the ever growing, and consolidating, owners of the businesses continued to see unparalleled gains in wealth. With the Great Depression, everyone got hurt. Yes, it wasn't the end for every rich person, but they also, most likely, had to cut down on luxuries that they had taken for granted due to cutting massive losses. If you look at today, the government says the government is doing great. The rich are constantly growing their wealth. Layoffs have been more to increase profits than because of a company losing too much money. However, the ordinary people haven't benefited from the growth.

@@kc3678It's actually pretty-easily predicted based on economic markers. More inflation and stagnant wages mean everyone that lives right on the edge, that has squeezed their expenses to the bottom to stay afloat, finally goes homeless. So, you can actually get a rough estimate yourself in a day or so. Go around and interview people on their finances. Find out what people are spending money on. For every person you find that can't drop enough nonessentials to save $50 a week, that's a person that's nearly-certain to be homeless within a couple years. Divide the number of people you find in that situation by the number of people you interview, and you've got a solid estimate of what percentage of people living in your area are going to be homeless soon.

"We the people" need to stand together no matter what our political persuasion and make our voices heard in many different 'union like' groups, who want all people to have a basic reasonable share of healthy meaningful work, essential planetary resources and security. We should live without struggling continuously by selling our blood, kidneys and life-energy for the right to merely exist. The rich buy up the land, food, water supplies, resources of the world and the very life-energy of the world's people. We often do menial, harmful, destructive and insignificant work for someone else's bottom line. The supreme court said mountains of money can be your voice. Let's reverse this paradigm on the oligarchs and refuse to be turned into ever more collateral damage and expendable beings. Have your union group boycott travel and gas long enough to be heard. My union will boycott non-essential fad items, useless mind destroying games and toys. As many people’s unions as possible boycott bio-engineered and over processed empty and toxic foods. Together let's turn off their carefully manipulated and controlled media systems. Tune them out, turn them off, don't purchase or swallow their lies and half truths. Shut out their endless and relentless life and thought interrupting commercials; especially those programming our children to the will of the self-righteous, arrogant oligarch elites. Unite in 'people for justice unions' and pick your greatest area of concern and make your voices heard with your resources. Shut them out until they back off and speak the truth. Their is no justice in their owning, possessing, controlling, the majority of global resources and the life-energy of most all of humanity. We have become soft, dependent and increasingly ignorant. “We know not what we do.” Live simply so all born to this planet may simply live responsibly and respectfully in freedom, harmony, truth, happiness, joy, security, health, well-being and peace. We can find the way if we have the understanding and united will for true justice.

The basic needs of a human being are the fundamental requirements necessary for survival, well-being, and a fulfilling life. These include: Physical Needs: food and water , Shelter, Clothing, Healthcare. Safety and Security: Protection from harm, violence, or danger. Financial Stability: A reliable source of income to meet basic needs. Social Needs: Relationships: Love, connection, and support from family, friends, and community. Belonging: Feeling accepted and valued in a group or society. Mental and Emotional Needs: Peace of Mind: Freedom from excessive stress, anxiety, and mental illness. Purpose: A sense of meaning and fulfillment in life. Meeting these needs ensures not only survival but also the opportunity to live with dignity and purpose. I feel sad seeing so many people losing their purpose to live here. I don’t care how rich this country is or how much its GDP rises. The government has completely failed to help those in need.

I wonder if all tech layoffs recently, where to make room for all the Visa Workers they're talking about in the news. And when they get hired to fill those spots. They will fire the other senior employees that didn't get laid off last round. 🤨 Undercutting their labor costs and not having to give them the benifets the other employees had. Which might lead to MORE homelessness. 😞 What a shitshow of a country!

'44% of homeless people are actually working.' I am glad that you put that out there. So many people look down on the less fortunate, not understanding the bigger picture. Kinda like how people are online bashing people (usually women) about getting welfare benefits. What people do not seem to understand, is that those benefits come with all types of rules and stipulations. One of those rules is that able-bodied people without babies under a certain age DO have to be working, schooling, volunteering, or actively seeking employment to keep their benefits. I feel kinda lucky not to have to rely on government benefits anymore; but I will never forget where I came from. It is not easy out here.

My 25 year old daughter has to live with 4 of her cousins to afford a place. How do they expect people to get married and have kids when they can’t even afford rent when they’re already working full time and more? Last week they cleaned a horders house and it took them over 12 hours just to clean the kitchen. Cat and dog crap all over the floors, human poop on the walls…tell me these girls aren’t earning enough to live independently?

More and more people might face a tough time in retirement. Low-paying jobs, inflation, and high rents make it hard to save. Now, middle-class Americans find it tough to own a home too, leaving them without a place to retire.

The increasing prices have impacted my plan to retire at 62, work part-time, and save for the future. I'm concerned about whether those who navigated the 2008 financial crisis had an easier time than I am currently experiencing. The combination of stock market volatility and a decrease in income is causing anxiety about whether I'll have sufficient funds for retirement.

This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.

Corporation are making record profits, rich people get richer by the minute, so the question is where their wealth is coming from? Big part of the wealth increase is because the coprporations do not pay enough. For example, federal minimum wage of $7.25/hr was not increased since 2009. The fact is that about 50% of states introduced higher minimum wages, but the fact is that the pay for majority of workers in the USA is suppresed. So, the ich are getting richer at the expenses of the workers, but the governments are required to use public money to support poor people!!!??? Most people are poor because the business do not pay by increasing the wages to cover at leastinflation, not to mention going up with the economic growth.

There is literally nothing I, as a single working class human being, will be allowed to do about this. On the other tail if I donated a million dollars to a room full of politicians and a judge, maybe a mayor, then I would have purchased enough good will with the psychopaths that they would consider my thoughts and lobbying.

I worked for a housing first program for 8 years as a security guard. So it was my job to watch an apartment complex filled with 33 homeless people... Not 1 of them improved there lives, it was little more then a safe place for them and there friend to do drugs. It was a flophouse. I was living check to check watching drug addicts get free food, free money, free housing, free time, free medical, free everything. To be the worst... I had to have a side hustle to make ends meet... They got free cable tv and Internet and cell phones... It was a hustle on the taxe payers! I watched them for 8 years not 1 of them did anything in that time to improve there lives...

They shouldn't have to! Human beings are the only species required to pay other humans to live on it. Have you ever seen a monkey buy a banana? The elite hoard the planet's resources and force the rest of us to work for them to eat. The elite don't work! They're parasites who feed off of the labor of others. In reality, there is only labor and resources. It is the elite who have stolen everything, yet they tell us to point out each other as the criminals!

The more you squeeze the middle class and poor so billionaires can take more of the profits we make the more the homeless population will go up. The politicians that take money from billionaires are complicit in this crime. First, we must have a home and healthcare. We must also get training and a good paying job with a pension. Social Security must do more. The billionaires should have a limit on how much of our wealth they can take. It is our country and our labor that creates the wealth. If we the people don't work hard the billionaires will not make money. Seniors need to be able to live on a pension and social security.

I bought my home in 2015for $118 k. It needed some work but it was ok. My mortgage kept going up because of taxes and then I was laid off....2 years ago. Send out resumes EVERY DAY. Still no job. If it weren't for my mom I would live on the street. Now my house is going for $344k. So the bank is pulling out every piece of paper they can find to tag onto my mortgage. If I am 1 day late they send me paperwork. I only owe 89k on my house and the mortgage company wants to take it. I don't know how much longer I can hold out. I can't afford to move. My young nephew in his late 20's works his ass off. He had to move back with his mom to save to buy a house. His rent was too high for him to save. He has 30k saved now and it's still not enough to put down on a house. Not a decent house anyway. He had been in bidding wars over gutted houses in questionable neighborhoods. The people buying them are all contractors and realtors. They are flipping the houses and selling them for huge amounts. It's untenable. Something has to give.

So sad and the government is doing nothing to help the people. These people are rich because of our labor, consumerism, and taxes. When are we going to come together and do something? Even if that means we have to make sacrifices for awhile until we find a new way. The current system is not working for the majority…only a few! It is not fair and these people are only rich because of us! So sick of this corrupt system and us not doing anything about it!
