I make loafs of bread using self rising flour and milk. I made one with cinnamon and sugar and I didn’t know if it was done? So I put in garlic powder in my dough to make a garlic bread too. I love the idea of making it beer and cheese and butter too.

Just watching your video and looking for help to try a beer bread for my 1st time. I was initially just thinking of the beer flavor in a bread. But now watching you adding flavors, I thought of something I've had here berore from our shops in Ontario. There is a tasty strawberry beer called fruuli I believe. I think it is an import. Might be a nice one to try out for a strawberry beer bread. I know the beer on its own is very nice.

What do you think about baking it in the DAF? I hate heating up my kitchen and was thinking I would need to lower the temp to 350 and bake for 15-20 mins, Thoughts? They all look great 😍

questions as an occasional baker,(and the price of flour is going to go way up ) is there a date to use info, that the baking powder is no good in self rising flour?
@AdventuresinEverydayCooking Жыл бұрын
That is a great question. 1 year in refrigerator. 2 years in freezer. 3-6 months at room temp.

My pans are nonstick so I believe I did nothing. BUT I would totally butter them. More butter is better right?
@Gemini42182 жыл бұрын
New to your channel just watched the air fryer video and I was curious on all the other loafs you said you made. That pepperoni bread I will be making. For that cinnamon one is a simple powder sugar glaze good enough?
@AdventuresinEverydayCooking2 жыл бұрын
Welcome to the channel! :) I think a simple powder sugar glaze would be amazing. Add a splash of vanilla and you've got a vanilla glaze!

Are you using a 12 oz bottle of beer? I use a 2% Rainier beer and add jalapeños and cheddar cheese, sharp cheddar and scallions. Oh so good. I make dinner rolls too. One loaf equals 9-12 rolls or small muffins.
