Today is an illustration of how black soap/ coco pod soap is made. which it's popular name is referred to the locals as Alata samina. According to belief this soap is originated from Nigerian where the market woman make and sell as income hustle or daily hustles. Now let show you how it is made. It is one of the most difficult soap that can be made only by only expects when one key aspect is lost everything step will have to be re-done.
First you will need to dry off the cocoa shell or pods then burn it. It is what is called the (doo)).After this you gather the burnt pods and keep it safe in a smock or plastic bag or a container where rain won't touch it or destroy it until when it is ready to be used.
To process it as a in soap process which is the black soap. You will first have to soak the the burnt cocoa pods which is now in a grinded powdered form then cook the the washed pods after wash. stir it until it is properly cooked when it start to thicken you add the water that was left when washed. slowly it starts to form into a harden fine consistency. Add any oil of choice. You can decide to add kernel oil, coconut oil, palm oil, Shea butter oil, except vegetable, peanut and the others that are not listed.
cook it for a good amount of time depending on how much cocoa pod powder that started with then add the lye solution.
place the funnel looking item then let it cool. As the cooking pods and other components are settling the the pods begin to raise.
Mold the formed consistency into any shape there you have it, Black African soap. it helps with acne, eczema, cellulitis, fungal infection of skin, dandruff, and other healing purposes.
