Please why did you leave the dough to rise before kneading and leave it to rise again before baking. My mom bakes on commercial and straight from the mixing factory, we knead it and leave it for the next day before we bake. Or is it because yours is a day bread? Make sure you are kneading dough very well to release the gluten. Also don't use too much flour especially when kneading. Allow dough to rise properly and don't add much flour or overwork it when shaping it after rising. These are tips that have helped me

True there is no flour in the shops at the moment. I used to buy flour almost every time I went shopping but now there is none. I have self raising flour though!!! I love this woman. She is an epitome of the woman described in Proverbs 31. The husband and children are blessed..

@@OriginalMamaBetty Please I have baked it ..so easy and fluffy and taste superb ankasa. But i did some experiment. I'm at my mum's place and her oven has only one tray and a single rack. So i used an aluminium foil to cover the rack and after the bread was done, the down (under) was very soft did not burn like the tray. Please you can experiment it and see. Thanks so so much, its late but I'm enjoying it with avocado. .,,,hahaha
