if you are going to take it off for the summer you should put some hooks on the top so you can lift it off easier. awesome job! wish we were neighbors, love doing the same type of jobs as you do!

Nice build ! The roof line looks boxy , I’d follow the frame down the sides to look more like your fenders and the wiper arm bend at a 90 degree left and reposition it to park to the left pillar and add a brush guard other then that you did a nice job fabricating , how does it run ?

Idea for next one. Rake window way forward. More room inside and rain may never get on windshield. Like on some boats.

The person that makes the video where it says (part 3 home made cab for compact tractors) it's to bad you had to make a cab for your compact tractor. That job should've ben done at the tractor manufacturer with heater and air conditioning and stereo all ready in it when you bought the compact tractor. But right now there is a good number of tractor manufacturers that doesn't put cabs on their tractors, they rather have you freeze in Sub-Zero temperatures with a real cold wind chill factor in the winter. In the hot summer months they rather have you sweat in the hot sun. That's ignorant of them because for a number of decades the technology has ben around for a long time now to have heaters and air conditioning in the passenger compartment of a vechile that includes tractors. But to many tractors don't have these comforters for a person to be comfortable. You have in your car and pickup truck. Why not all the compact tractors to? All tractors should have a cab on them when they leave it factory and NO exceptions!! But also the compact tractors should have another 75% more horsepower at the P.TO. shaft. And 3 settings 540 and 1000 and 1500 R.P.M's for the P.T.O. shaft. And just by just moving a lever to one of 3 positions to whatever you want or need. It would help in different ways. You talked about silicone between the metal frame and the window, there is a glue that's for that, go a body shop and ask a body man what type of glue that is that uses on car wind Shields. That's good stuff and it doesn't leak when you do it right

You do realize that the cab is going to twist and so on and I see there is mostly just tack welds holding the better part of the cab together. Being a welder for over forty years and knowing how quickly a good tack can fail and welds for that matter I'd at least put a one inch weld between those tacks for good measure. Safety first !

Ah, yes, I am going to use the info for my build, (Husqvarna lawn tractor cab), to make the heater. My design is to pull the heat off my Kohler engine and blow it into the cab with a small Toyota, Ford, or whatever type of fan. Can I show you the picture when I'm done? P.S. I subscribed. ;) Thanks!

Una vera schifezza il colore è stato dato direttamente sul ferro senza dare fondo antiruggine prima. E anche all' interno non è stata nemmeno verniciata !!!!!
