I have a motorcycle wheel balancer that I can use to test the crank balance just like balancing a new motorcycle tire on the wheel

On very cold ❄️ ☃️ days, do you have any problems with your clutch/ clutch arm sticking in, until you can get the engine started & warm? I think the stock grease they used, freezes on cold days & makes the clutch stick.

If there's any grease at all, but you should know how the clutch works by now Michael 👽👍🏻

@@Op1zilla Yeah I learned how clutches work when I was 16 & replaced the clutch, pressure plate & throw out bearing in my fwd car.

One of the things I’ve had the worst luck with on these motorized bicycle kits at least the external parts is all of the cables they supply. They’re way too long. I usually have to loop around the extra length unless I cut and solder on a new end. And for the clutch, the cables seem to have a lot of friction on the inside and also can visually see them squeezing down as you pull in the clutch (as in, I can see them shorten slightly from the internal tension). if you haven’t already, played with the clutch arm on the motor by hand and see if it feels like the friction is coming from the cable when you release it or the arm itself when you release it. Pull in with the hand lever, and let out slowly on the motor arm. if the bike has a good amount of use on it already, and it doesn’t seem like the friction is coming from the cable or arm itself, it’s really common for the clutch ball and bucking bar to get all twisted and chewed up(worn out, grease filled with metal). That could possibly make it bind internally without being able to feel it via the arm thing. I am 99% sure that the reason why that happens is people setting their clutch cable too tight when released- and now the bucking bar is rubbing and scraping nonstop

I used to have the opposite problem in the cold because my rubber pads were so sticky lol- it would get stuck engaged until I broke it loose
