Homemade cyclone dust collector using cordless vacuum cleaner

This is an improved version of the 'dust collector using a cordless vacuum cleaner' created in the previous video.
The dust collection performance is improved by combining commercially available cyclone parts and the cyclone attachment of the cordless dust collector.
As before, a HEPA filter is also installed.
By using two cyclone parts, we were able to reduce the maintenance frequency of the HEPA filter.
Also, the cyclone attachment can be removed so that only one cyclone part can be used.

How can this be Homemade when you purchased a cyclone? I usually use a plastic pail and lid with ABS connectors. Faster and easier to build

Intricate, but it looks like virtually the entire unit needs to be disassembled in order to empty out what’s been collected.

does it make any sense if the second cyclone is full anyway? it would be a dreat idea if the first cyclone did more work but he catches just some littleness

The transparent, smaller one is the second cyclone. The first cyclone is excellent, so the second one only separates a little. However, I think it will have the effect of reducing the maintenance frequency of the HEPA filter. It is also a convenient place to store the cyclone attachment when a cordless vacuum cleaner is attached to this dust collector.

How powerful does the cordless vac need to be? Which model are you using? Is the 2nd cyclone from the Makita 199553-5 Cyclonic Vacuum Attachment?

The cordless vacuum cleaner is a Hikoki R36DA. It is ranked the same as Makita's CL001GZCW. The cyclone attachment is probably 199553-5, but I am not sure because the model number is different in Japan.

@@SSDIY For the USA, I believe the model available is the Makita GLC01Z for $259. Hikoki don't sell cordless vacs here, I think.

分離器を増やせば分離効率は上がるでしょうが、その分吸引力は下がっちゃいますよね ホースもヘアピンカーブのように急角度で配置してるし、ロスがすごそう… 分離できても吸いにくくなってしまっては、集塵機としては本末転倒な気が…
