This track is just up the road from me, I’m all for having fun on bikes but in the correct location, bmx tracks are for bmx’s not high powerd Emtb’s , I know the guys who volunteer here to upkeep the track and they would definitely not be happy to see this as I wouldn’t on my home track.

I’ve been riding an e-bike mtb with a battery in a backpack for some time now and this is the first video I’ve seen of someone else doing it! I’m surprised more people aren’t doing it but maybe now it will be more of a thing in the mtb world 🙌🏻

Sam, I am pretty sure umping is mostly slower on BMX tracks. Depending on the jump. Unless your really race the jump and pump out of the landing. But if its a big table. you probably gain more speed if you don't try to jump it and take a pedal while on top. I think anyway I Might be wrong and get roasted in replies lol

Sam, you really need to ask permission before you start taking powerful electric bikes on bmx tracks. They are private property and run by volunteers. Many have to be fenced off because idiots do things like this and damage them- they don't fence this one off to try and encourage riding. I'm pretty sure you know you shouldn't be doing this if rc cars are banned. Now every goon on a stolen uber eats bike is going to be ripping the shit out of their nearest track in whatever weather. I look after a track in Norway, and all of us out here are constantly having to fix damage from selfish people who use something inappropriately. You need to apologise to the club.

You should do some videos testing out and learning to ride other personal electric vehicles. Its not that it hasn't been done, but would love to see a pro mtbs actual opinion on some of these awesome vehicles. If you do just bike type vehicles its endless razors, surrons, talaria and so many weird ones too. Same for scooters. The one with a harder learning curve would be electric unicycle but I promise you won't regret learning to ride one. Especially next time you hurt your wrist and can't ride for months. I think it would bring a ton of new viewers to your channel from other types of riding. As a heads up I don't even mtb I just ride euc and hit jumps on that and trail ride but love your content and want a mtb from riding my euc.

@driten123 Yeah... over 30 years of MX/SX for me. You could say I'm well acquainted with SX and Arena Cross lol. What I commented, it's not the same. Not even close. That's the thing with the Surron and its class 3 status. It's not MX/SX worthy, nor is it mtb or emtb. Thus, the idea of its own sport, tracks, and series. Hopefully influencing the production of tracks SX/MX and, maybe, trail centers.

Hate to sh*t on all the fun, but I can't imagine there's not a rule against motorized vehicles on the BMX track and all I can think of is all the non riders in power who don't know the difference between a class 1 E-bike and a Suron (which you are closer to riding here), banning Eebs from everything because of shenanigans like this, as well as it inspiring others to do the same.

I understand what you’re trying to say but considering my pedal bike was faster round a lap I don’t see how it wrecked anything. Believe me I’ve had motocross bike wrecking jumps and tracks I’ve built my whole life so that’s definitely not what I’m trying to do. It’s a mountain bike with electric assist not a motocross bike or suron
