Pickle of fresh "milk" garlic, a quick and very easy recipe without cooking and sterilization. A tried and tested recipe that a grandmother prepares and knows from her mother-in-law. Garlic pickle is very durable when in a cold place, in a basement or refrigerator can last until next spring and the time when you will cook it again. It is great in combination with snacks, salads and roast meat.
Ingredients:
For 1 jar of 700 ml
8-10 heads of garlic (depending on the size of the garlic)
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. coarse salt (maybe fine)
1/4 tablespoon citric acid (on the tip of a spoon)
5 tablespoons vinegar
water to fill the entire jar
It can also be prepared in larger jars, but if you use smaller ones they should be broken into cloves. The pickle is ready for consumption about 2 months after cooking.
