I wonder what would happen if you used the AG+ and mixed it with a little bit of the poly and used that to coat the plate? I think the issue here is what ever material the liquid light has the sensitive salts suspended in is too think and water soluble or at least has enough impurities that are water soluble so that parts of emulsion get washed away. I bet if you mixed a more traditional film emulsion with poly with some solvent to get the right consistency and thin-ness and also added a drying agent like alcohol or mineral spirits to remove all the water it would leave a very thin film of the poly with the sensitive salts suspended in that poly layer.
