Homemade jig catches so many Tog (Blackfish) in Jamaica bay!.

I made some jigs for the very first time. It wasn’t as easy as I thought and after many fails, I was finally able to make 4 to put them to the test. They are 1oz football jigs. These jigs are very popular for sheepshead fishing so I want them to use them for tog and see how they performed. I was very impressed by the hook set rate compared to regular tog jigs. My next step is to powder paint them and give them another shot. Stay tune!!.

Small tip..dont cut legs off over the side the tide will pull them away from u making fish move to get em

Yeah, it is a nice spot for tog. I guess what I was implying is that it was my first shot at making jigs and fishing with them, the casting was a little off. I put the wire forms the wrong way in the mold before casting lol. Also I’ve never used swing football jigs before. Thank you for watching bro!.
