I guess he will not gonna be reading my comment but my current job is because of Jamie. I saw his TV show for the first time in 2009 i thought to myself..."WOW, I want to learn how to make this too." I am now pastry chef in a 2 Michelin star restaurant :) I know I got it mainly for my hard work, but he was the inspiration and the one who made me follow this career. Thank you Jamie

Not gonna Lie. Jamie is actually the reason I got into cooking when I was younger. I watched his Naked chief series on Video and even watched his Jamie’s school dinners series. He totally made me passionate about food, so much so that at one point I wanted to become a chief. I never did Pursue the career but I can say to date, he is honestly the reason why I love food.

I hope I’m not speaking out of turn when I say this Jamie.. but when all this sh%# is over.. please carry on doing videos JUST like this. Out of the thousands of videos you’ve done over the years (of which I’ve always loved, might I add!) I just bloody love ‘em. No fuss, straight forward cooking, seeing what you guys eat for your lunches, getting little tips along the way (bread one was fab! Although there’s rarely leftover bread in my house, we’re all piggy’s 😂 & yes, we even love the crusts - toasted with a bit of marmite, heaven!) & just relaxed, home videos with the beautiful Jools filming. No fussy lighting or editing. I love it! And I’ve cooked a good amount of these meals so far, which says a lot as I’m often not very confident in the kitchen; all doable & easy recipes! Oh, & it ticks me off that people waste the stalks of cauliflower & broccoli, please stop folks! That’s the BEST bit! Xxx
@angelikaberber38604 жыл бұрын
All I can say is I LOVE the unprofessional, laid back format, the great little tips like what to do to save milk, use up leftover bread...I know professional filming is nice, but this feels more like one Dad sharing some great cooking with other parents. Personally, I hugely enjoyed it! And it’s totally going on the menu plan for this week! Already tried the family pizza which was a huge hit.

This is much better than celebrities living in their mansion with fully stocked kitchen by their servants telling people "We are all in this together". Learning how to cook will teach people about food wastage. If we waste less food, we do not need to produce as much food to have enough to eat.

For me, the attitude is what I like about Jamie's cooking. I saw him first around the year 2000 and he showed up at a rock groups farm, he did a rib roast with ginger, garlic, all the juices flowing down into the potatoes....and i tried it...and it was INSANE...it wasn't just the food, it was the fun I had making it at home...the ATTITUDE... that is what I like best about Jamie. Fun.
