I usually mixed it w room temp water in an bottle or jug. Yes, u can add in honey water, or warm water too. If store in air tight container n dry place, it can last fr at least 3 months or longer.

You can use a net or mesh to cover them for outdoors or uses a fruit dehydrator machine if you have one
