Homemade Roasted Pistachios

Let's roast raw pistachios, the Persian style
Ingredients:
2 cups Raw Pistachios
1/4 cup Lemon Juice
1 TBS Salt

I tried the recommendations, for 4 cups of pistachios, 1/2 cup of freshly squeezed lemon, just 1 tbs of salt , 200 degrees F and 3 hrs in the oven. Wow they are very delicious, but nxt time only 1/2 tbs of salt. Thank you very much for sharing your recipe. I think the low temp prevented fatty acid oxidation.

I air fry my raw, shelled pistachios and it takes about 15 minutes. I spray them with a tiny bit of olive oil spray after air frying them.

Esen Shevketoglu Thanks for watching it. Since the temperature is low, you need more time for the pistachios to make them completely dry. You can always check to see if they are dry or not. Please don’t forget to subscribe.

From what I saw on other videos it is only a few minutes so best to watch the oven! But now I am doing it and the temp can be upped to 300 and it does take longer than a few minutes. More like at least 30 Mn. Mine are still in the oven. You need to try yourself and see what works best. I used lemons though and that’s a good idea. No salt for me.
