I haven't been able to understand my skin that well. I used to get a lot of acne until 2 years ago, and now I have a lot of marks. And until 2 months ago I used products suitable for dry skin because my skin is not particularly oily. But now I'm using products suitable for combination skin, and it seems to be doing an okay-ish job. So, what exactly am I supposed to do? Also, thank you for being my go-to website regarding skin oriented concerns. Love.

I face similar problems. I had acne between 2011 and 2019(all my teen years) but now I have non-problematic cheeks and jawline with constantly clogged skin on the chin(visible only when that part is stretched), nose and the areas beside the nose. Skin on the forehead varies. And then totally clear skin on the neck which causes it to look brighter than the face.

@@Butterfly-AJ I would suggest using rosewater on your face everytime you wash it using a cleanser, before applying a moisturizer. Doing this daily has helped my skin since rosewater has anti-bacterial properties too.

My t zone is not that oily but corners of my nostrils will be slightly oily in the morning. I do get a lot of acne and this has led to lot of scars. So I'm always confused whether I should consider my skin as dry or combination. Yet I tend to use skincare for oily skin which is gentle and it's ingredients are not to sticky to skin.
