What a marvelous build! It's clear that a lot of work went into the design. People who asked whose plans you used have probably missed the point. If this isn't a true DIY project I'll eat my hat. There is some very creative work here. The number of negative comments is surprising. I don't agree with everything you did, but my opinion doesn't mean your choices aren't perfectly valid. Make it lower! Make it an exact copy. Use wire wheels. Put a Hemi in it. Paint it orange with pink flames. Nonsense! You made your own choices. You were innovative and creative. Wonderful, wonderful work!

Quite nice build here. You have much in the way of metal fab skills, but those wheels are truly tragic. I suggest removing them and putting almost anything else on, then lowering the ride height by about 1.5" to 2".

Can you help with plans for the frame? I have a mould for the body but need measurement for the frame

The wheel wells are HUGE is the car to light for spring load or tires too small. What is going on. Perhaps some Cadillac Escalade 22" wheels and tires.

Lots of places where gussets could have strengthened frame even more, the FG body- supplied ? The big deal is in California, how do you get a registration Done for a kit car? some stets are say, others are crazy hard. Difficulty and ways to meet requirements for a 1 off special prices. ??

Looks very nice.Just one thing. Get rid of the Mig welder and switch to Tig. Mig is for tacking. Your welds look like a little on the bird side but great job and detail

I would have no problem driving this around town with that frame. Even a side impact that things but like a tank. Curious did this ever get weighed and what's the weight ratio on the front Rear

Looks really nice, but confusing. Was this a kit car ? Why did you pick a little 4.6L motor ?

A 4.6 motor is around the same s Capacity as a 289. But you get more power, more torque, awesome sound, better handling, easier servicing. After all having a big block boat anchor in the front is a bit like fanciing double d chest but finding out they belong to a serial killer, by the way are you another couch critic or have also spend 2 years of every moment of spare time building something??

I usually love Cobra kit cars, but this one not so much. The awful wheel fitment and 4x4 ride height make it look like a cobra body slapped on a pick-up frame. Also, the terrible ricer seats and molded fiberglass dash just don't fit.

Was super excited when I first started watching and all the fab work for the chassis..then all of a sudden..bam like a ton of red bricks falling on me was that fiberglass body. I started crying after that.. what motor?? Um I would say remote oil filter cause the one on there was smashed. Damn.. save up the monies and hand build that body. What a waste of time

Build on a budget, and there's nothing wrong with that, but I do have a problem with the poorly made imitation of the classic 65 Shelby Cobra. It has the look of a droopy eyed dog, poor craftsmanship on the builder of the mould.

All that bueaty and the shittiest welding I've ever seen. I thought oh at least they'll dress those welds before sending it for paint. Nope. Sad
