Homemade tractor 3 point hitch setup

A demonstration of the 3 point hitch utilizing a hydraulic hand pump that I made for the homemade tractor along with a modified mold board plow that my Dad gave me.

Thanks! I think a 3 point makes a hobby tractor way more useful. It lifts heavy enough stuff to get the front tires off the ground. If it was a real work tractor, though hydraulic or electric would be the way to go.

Thanks! It was a great experience to build this tractor and since I designed it myself, for me, I think it is superior to any garden tractor (for me). There were some frustrating times I wished I never started during the build, but no regrets now.

It would be easy to put a 12v actuator on it. I don’t think they are very expensive and some are pretty powerful

Yeah, true. I just wanted to avoid any electronics, especially a battery. I'm old school that way.
