A demonstration of the 3 point hitch utilizing a hydraulic hand pump that I made for the homemade tractor along with a modified mold board plow that my Dad gave me.

Again. I love the manual 3 point hitch system!

That's pretty cool! I'd have never thought to use a jack cylinder until I watched this. Good job, man!

Thanks! I think a 3 point makes a hobby tractor way more useful. It lifts heavy enough stuff to get the front tires off the ground. If it was a real work tractor, though hydraulic or electric would be the way to go.

Using the Harbor Freight jack cylinder is brilliant!

lol your tractor has a lot of pulling power and it is just over idle very impressive.

Thanks! Yeah that's why I chose this engine; plenty of torque!

I like that bud. Simple and useful. A little bit of work to lift pretty heavy plow and make your tractor even more useful.

I love your tractor is very inspiring and I plan to build one myself even though I have several garden tractors already I think it would be a fun experience building one from the ground up👍🏻

Thanks! It was a great experience to build this tractor and since I designed it myself, for me, I think it is superior to any garden tractor (for me). There were some frustrating times I wished I never started during the build, but no regrets now.

@@jessealt5415 well it looks great and functions great. I plan to build one myself when I get a hold of a transmission. I have a little transmission but I don’t think I want to use it it’s not as low as I’d like it to be

It would be easy to put a 12v actuator on it. I don’t think they are very expensive and some are pretty powerful

Yeah, true. I just wanted to avoid any electronics, especially a battery. I'm old school that way.
