I know you used charcoal but what are the white chunks and the white powders ?

Seems like marl stones and sand are the other two.

​@@UNLOCKCONNECTIONS Sand is one, but I think the white powder is alum. An even better process would be to add a large barrel above the major filter. The spout shouldnt be all the way at the bottom. Right below half. Drop alum into the water barrel. and have a water wheel at the top of the barrel to stir the water. It wont stir when it isnt engaged from water flow. The alum sticks to majority of debree. Then open the valve to drop into the smaller charcoal filter. The alum clears up the water. But doesnt clean it. It also makes your charcoal/stone/sand filter, last much longer.
