The way he’s driving the bike looks like „Trail“. Driving through the landscape not for speed, but to master difficult „scenes“. What you need there is a wide power band starting just above idle. Nothing this twin-engine had originally. A friend of mine had one and it was all about rev‘s. And then add an in any case to big turbocharger. The one used looks more like 2..3l displacement instead of 125ccm. But anyway, in the 70s, when I was in the „modify your small bike“ age, we did not the parts and machinery at all. If we would have got hands on a modern TIG welder! We used either electrode welders (and mainly closed holes we burned in before), or we sometimes could get hold on a gas welder to make nice 2stroke exhaust cones. Maybe that way we survived 🙃😎.

I just noticed this, but I think it would run better if you ran it as a draw through setup (carb before the turbo) instead of a blow through like you have it.

Nope, because then you need to change the Turbo Seals out. Other why's it sucks oil and makes a huge vacuum leak. He neeeds a fuel pump or a way to make a 1:1 Fuel pressure rise with boost.

@@trxtech3010 on a carb setup, a blow through requires pressurizing the carb to manifold pressure. its easier to do a draw through setup. It wont make the leak like youre claiming it will. and thats from first hand experience with draw through carbie turbo setups on vws increasing fuel pressure would just cause the float bowls to leak. What you actually have to do is pressurize the float bowls, but this doesn't work on all carb setups. I've seen some setups where the entire carb is contained within a pressure box

А четырёх цилиндровый можешь собрать? Это будет интересно тем что такой тип двигателя распространенный Я впервые вижу двухцилиндровый самодельный Это просто шикарно конечно дружище. Да и кстати ещё есть звук подобие спортивного мотоцикла даже на этих двух цилиндров, a 4х будет он абсолютно звук идентичен просто

Le Dan your channel is great. One quick note though you need an oil pump to feed the turbo oil or does the turbo have its own built in pump that sucks the scavenged oil?

I believe that boss he welded and tapped was in a pressure passage to end feed the crank(see 11:19 & 13:27-13:42), and thus the turbo gets it also...@14:00 you can just make out a clear braided return line showing flow. Also as he puts on air cleaner, behind his hand 14:46-14:56 w/the white zip tie.
