Homemade Wood Stain - Vibrant Purple - One Coat

Making my own wood stain/dye at home is something I have been experimenting with for a long time. Every once in a while I discover something new and it turns out great!
***FYI as is dries it becomes a lot more blue in color. My camera made it look extra purple and I couldn't adjust it. Still looks cool though!
I hope this inspires you to think outside the box and do your own experimenting. You never know what you might be able to create with random materials around the house.

It should hold up great. Have you ever had a pen leak on clothing? The stain is forever! I don't see varnish being a problem but I'll try it out and report back if there are any issues.

Just looking at one of my stars yesterday and thinking what should I stain this with.... I'm going to try this. Name it Barney star color??

Just a heads up, it's definitely more blue when it dries. My camera made it look extra purple for some reason. I couldn't change it but it still looks cool! Maybe you can find a purple ink pen.
