Drill Press Stand from pallets

Optimising my working space in the garage, I decided to make a drill press stand.
To make it I used materials found around the house.
It took awhile to make it, but I am very happy with the outcome.

One other notable mention I want to make here. I've never seen anyone on KZbin so consistently use reclaimed lumber or pallets to make furniture and such and make it look so beautiful as you have time and time again. BRAVO AGAIN

What an interesting way of preparing your drawers for locating the drawer glide by placing a strip of wood as a locating bar. I have never seen that used before. I'm not implying that it hasn't and I have been a fine finish commercial woodworker and furniture maker for over 40 years. That just shows that one can always learn something every day. I know it is an extra step in drawer construction but I like it and will use it too from now on. BRAVO MAESTRO

It's very inspiring to see this magnificent table that has to be said, has been made with the most basic of tools. It looks like a professionally built stand - beautifully styled, great construction, and exactly fit for the purpose needed. That drill press stand is going to be around long after we are both dead and buried - and whoever inherits it is going to be as thrilled as I would be to own it. Great video to boot !

Как столяр он при работе только на циркулярке нарушил 2 важнейших требования ТЕХНИКИ БЕЗОПАСНОСТИ 1)Работа без расклин ножа-зажим или перекос заготовки ведёт к выбросу заготовки 2)Работа в перчатках 3)Работа без толкателя Про технологические требования "сплачивается на гладкую фугу" вообще молчу:ни прифуговки кромки ни правильного расчета размера(соотношения ширина/толщина) делянок для мининализации коробления. А как мастеру,да респект и уважуха

Wood putty from bondo works phenomenal with projects like this.

People aways overlook the slots in the foot of the press and that the power head can swivel. If you make the cabinet front to back deeper, say 6,8 -ish inches and base floor. The hollow created with various straps or clamps mounting for long stock, for end boring long stock by pushing back the press and rotate the head, counter weight in base. Hollow can also store special fences and flat jigs.
