I so enjoy thrift/second hand stores. You can find such gems sometimes. You hit the jackpot for your kids. Those clothes that you got your kids are adorable.😊

I really enjoy your videos and the beauty of simplicity you share. In a sea of marketing on the internet it is so refreshing. I know youtubers make money off of collaberations and I respect that but I feel like if you got to that point you would only to what you really loved and would still stick to your values of being minimal. It's nice to be influenced to not continually need so much and focus on what really matters. Thanks Elli!

I loved the quote that you read from C.S. Lewis. I have always felt so bad; when in a social group, someone asks a Woman what she does and some would answer; I am just a housewife; like they were embarrassed or felt inferior to others. I am a senior now, but was a stay at home Mom. I am happy to find youtubers like yourself that I love to follow who are homemakers. You found some great clothing for your kiddos.

Beautiful video as always, Elli! You’re doing a great job with this new style of editing. Ivy’s new dresses are so cute! I just thrifted a similar white and pink floral one for Heidi for the spring.

I’m 45 and I work a part time job for now. I have always loved being the homemaker of our home. This year my husband and I will be empty nesters. Both of our adult kids will be finding their way and purpose out in the world. It’s such a bittersweet time but I know God has them in His hands and will take care of them. I am looking forward to the next chapter for me as a full time homemaker one day when I get to love on our grand babies. Whenever that day comes, I will be ready. Thank you for your sharing.

Hi, Elli! I’m guessing your beautiful blue snowdrop mug is thrifted, but does it have markings on it to indicate where it is from? It’s so beautiful!

@@thefruitofherhome Thank you! I searched for it yesterday before I messaged you, but couldn't find it. Thankfully, I found it to today! It's a Danica Element mug. "Posy" is the specific design name. Just incase someone else asks. :) I'm so happy I found it!

Time to get Ivy her first American Girl doll! 🥰😉 I just got my daughter her first, her name is Willa and I found out that they made a doll named Willa (from a line they made called Wellie Wishers, they all have little rain boots, you would love it!) I’m not sure if it was more for her or me 😂

@@thefruitofherhomeyay! The quality of their dolls is so worth the price. I love the historical ones (Kit, Samantha, Kirsten) but they don’t sell AG in Canada and shipping them here is a fortune, so for now I can only dream 🥰

Great haul. So many good pieces. I wish I had a savers near me. Goodwill has gotten very expensive. I cannot even afford the prices there any longer. They are up to 15.00 to 20.00 for dresses, , 15.00 for sweaters, 10.00 for shirts, tops. I just limit the trip to one or two pieces each trip, no huge hauls any longer
