Best thumbnail choice. Even at 60 with my kids grown and gone I still feel like I am at my best home, creating a peaceful space and taking care of my husband , animals and garden and making sure to connect on some level with my grown children and grandchildren. You are so right - the years go fast, so fast.

where is your husband at dinner time?

Often during the week we have to eat early because of baseball practice starting at “dinner time.” He has an hour commute, and eats a late lunch, so when he isn’t home in time, he eats after ball. (He coaches several of our kiddos, so this season of the year is absolutely crazy.). Alternatively, some nights he will work really late and take the entire next day off to hang with us at home. Both happen quite frequently.
