I have a prayer book that includes a prayer for home management. I include it during my morning devotion time. It speaks of "unmarked acts that are accomplished in quiet obedience without accolade." Daily, this reminds me that homemaking can be and ultimately is obedience to God's Golden Rule, if done from the love in my heart and not simply a chore to be checked off.
